Mack, I know that.  But the comment you made about her giving you the "look" just cracked me up at the time. My ex would be terrified when I gave him the "look". I have no idea what type of face I made, or that I was even giving him the "look". When he was annoying me and I tried to give him the "look", he would laugh and say that's not the "look". I guess it just can't be faked. Lol! And I've always wondered what type of face I made that would just stop him in his tracks and turn him to stone. Because the times he said I gave him the "look", I don't think he was doing anything that really deserved it. He deserved it when I was trying to fake it. Go figure.

My wife says I have an equivalent, what she calls “the voice”. I really am not aware of it but she says she knows when I have reached my limit. According to her my voice drops an octave or two and my voice becomes very deliberate and monitored. She actually kidded me about it in front of one of my staff years ago and the staff member immediately acknowledged she and the rest of the staff had experienced it. Funny thing is I can’t just fake it, it’s a time and place situational thing.

It's Clean your Purse and Car Day AND time to check your cleaning supplies under the sink.
Did the usual, cleaned up the kitchen, brewed the coffee, have the trash ready to go out to the bins.
Watching the Olympics while I clear email and socials. My cleaning went well and I am glad to have all the "doctor" stuff done for a while.
I think today I need to clean up the bathroom floors, and maybe I will put the files back into the file cabinet and get that office stuff done.
Oh and I got a postal preview email and my deposit check is coming! They mailed it to the wrong apartment number so it finally got returned to the office, so they remailed it correctly.
Off to clear email.

Got thru email which helped me get a handle on my tax stuff. A bunch of my documents were available today so I got those printed off. Might even start my tax return today!
Cleaned up piles of papers in my office, so that is done, now I need to do some exercise of some sort.

Saturday ... a day to play, before the rain ...
Got the balcony open, will need to bring in all the stuff this afternoon in prep for the storm. Looking forward to the stormy few days.
Did a Safeway order so I have options to skip the dining room.
Time for the newspaper and yogurt.

Shower done, Hair in curlers, finished up the kitchen cleanup - got the dishwasher going. Brewed the coffee and put away the Safeway order.
I got some good fresh pastas and a couple of sauces plus I have been thinking about Pinto Beans so I got some of those. I like comfort foods when it rains and I am not a big fan of our Menu items this week.
Maybe I will start my taxes, LOL.

Sunday ... A day for reflection and doing the taxes ....
Haven't done much yet, but I did unpack the chewy boxes, now I just need to unpack the 4 boxes of catfood. And I noticed in all that food I only have 8 cans of Sylvester's fav!!! So now I need to go and order a box of it.
Opened up the balcony for a little bit and noticed PG&E has the road closed and there are multiple trucks working on the pole done from the transformer they fixed last week. Hmmmmm...
I am off to brunch, then back home for chores.

It's Home Blessing Day AND time to declutter the empty bottles and used up bars of soap that are taking up space in your tubs and showers. Do the Laundry room too.
I have a list, LOL, kitchen has been cleaned up, dishwasher loaded, coffee brewed and lunch eaten. Now working on email and socials, then I need to unpack the kitty food and take out all the trash, boxes and recycling.
After that we shall see.

Carey’s work at home mini-office has been taken down. We loaded the computer pieces and parts that belong to the government in her SUV and took it to her regular office. While there we took her plaques, awards, and diplomas down and brought them home. Home office is just her and my personal desks and computers now though we want to take this opportunity to spruce it up a bit. Looks like a bomb went off it there right now. She says she 95% out of her regular office. Two more weeks to retirement.

It' Planning Day AND time to look over your linens, is it time to donate them to the Pet Shelter!
I am just getting started, been busy watching the Women's Short Program playing computer games. Now I have got the kitchen cleaned up, dishwasher loaded and the coffee brewed.
And I am cleaning up the office kitty litter area, Yuk, but it has to be done. I put new cardboard behind the boxes (Sometimes Sylvester sprays a bit thru the box opening, I need to see if I can get tops with no opening), and swept the litter rug, now I can put everything back.
Time for a break, the US is skating, I love Alyssa Liu's hair. It's so cute and different.

Got thru email and then went back to cleaning up the litter boxes and area. My original plan for the move was to get new kitty boxes once I moved. Off to Check them out.
Yesterday I took a sideways fall, it was weird. I was sitting on my little triangle rollie putting away catfood and all of a sudden I was falling to my right. I think I somehow bent the wheel at some point and didn't notice it, so when I put all my weight on it it tipped over. It was so odd it was like slow motion, but I couldn't stop it. So I had to scoot over to the bed and pull myself back up.
So now I have the 3 step stool coming so I can just sit on that to do my chores instead of the rollie.
I pulled the loaf of bread from Spaghetti factory out of the freezer, I am going clam chowder for dinner. So I think I am done for now!
