Dishwasher going, kitchen cleaned up, and got the rest of the stuff from the upper cabinets down onto the stove. Now I just need to get a bin and pack it up.
But first a little lunch, then shower, then packing.

HOLY COW!!! I just had a visit from the Executive director and a VP of Customer Relations and they offered to take my rent back down to when I move in and give me a freeze for a few years.
PLUS THE WITCH IS GONE. Apparently they let the awful Community Manager is "no longer with them".
I don't know what to do, Any Thoughts!!!

Hahahahaha, Grooch. I don't think they can do that, I will mention to them that we need to work on the food issues.
I did speak to my friend and she agrees with you guys. I do like it here and one of the biggest issues was the former manager, so if they give me a good offer I will go ahead and see how much it will cost to cancel all the stuff I have in motion.
I sent off an email to the Executive Manager to see what exactly he is offering me.

Well, then tell them you want to interview the potential new manager yourself, and get a say in it, before they hire a new one. If you stay, you'll be stuck with whoever they hire and the new one could be worse.

For now they are not planning to hire a new manager, the Ex Director is going to run it along with the Life Experience Manager and Admin. So maybe after a year or so they will see if they actually need anyone here.
I think they got enough feedback from people that they are going to be very careful before they put someone else in here.

It's Errand Day AND time to open the fridge, grab a trash bag and throw open the door to fling out the science projects, holiday leftovers and don't forget to check out the vegetable/fruit drawer.
I haven't done much yet today, just sent an email off to see about breaking my lease. It is weird because the unit isn't available til the 15th, I won't have access til the 20th, if I was still moving, and I have paid the deposit in December.
So I am hoping that they will just say ok and cancel, returning my deposit. But they could ask me to pay a months rent, $2150. The Manager has to contact upper management to see how to handle this since it is not a normal "breaking of the lease" since it is technically not actually enforce yet.
I am off to get some lunch and see how the residents are reacting to Chardae being gone!

My Grilled Cheese was great and I did get some good scoop. Apparently there were more move-outs in the time she was here than the other Carltons combined!!
IMO, she was like having a black cloud over the place! I know she wouldn't have hurt me but I didn't feel safe when she was around, it was such an odd feeling.
The current Life Manager is the one who will be the co-manager type with the Executive Director, and she happened to come down and we had a really good talk. She said that Chardae "destroyed" this place. And I agreed saying, Yes she kept changing things that weren't broken. Also she apparently was holding Maintenance to doing their jobs so that is all screwed up again. And the previous manager worked hard to get them caught up and kept them accountable. I guess Chardae liked the manager so he got away with not doing anything, AGAIN.
So Marnee -- new co manager, said a lot of things that got changed will be going back to the way they were. And the big fight about the directory not having apartment numbers, last names and email addresses is over and everything is back in the directory.
It should be fun around here again, instead of a High Anxiety Pit. Unfortunately one of the really fun people died this morning ... they tried to revive him but he didn't make it, so sad, I really liked him. WE haven't had a death in quite a while.
I have to say when I was down there it did feel like the whole spirit of the building was lifted!

It's Clean Your Car and Purse DAY AND time to Sweep your kitchen floor really well and then mop.
I cleaned up the mess I had let slide yesterday in the kitchen, unloaded the dishwasher, reloaded and then put away the 2 boxes of Fancy Feast.
Opened up the balcony - a bit chilly but nice - and next I will be having some yogurt with the paper and Perry.
I need to work on getting my house back together and hopefully finalize the cancel of the new lease and movers.
Off to Perry.

Lordy, getting my house back together is almost as hard as the packing was. I took a basket out of my closet bookcase that had odds and ends and started my First Aid/NorfluCoCo combination. I was surprised at some of the things I found, another wrist brace - which I moved to the desk with the other one.
Then I was cleaning up the office litter boxes which turned into moving them out, replacing the litter rug (with one I found while packing stuff), new cardboard backing against the wall (from the multitude of boxes that I have now and then wiping all the sides down. Finally the sweeping of the loose litter, and then mopping the litter dust!
I am starting a bin of moving supplies since I haven't quite figured out what to do with all the stuff I purchased.
So I had sent an email asking about my floor for the third time .... and they just showed up with the floor guy! He is going to try to reglue it tomorrow morning so now I need to put the kitchen back together first.
So boxes and trash out, then kitchen redo.

Called and confirmed the movers are cancelled, then I got my box started for give-aways, did some dustbusting of the living room floors.
Was trying to figure out why I had a headache and realized I had forgotten to take my morning pills!
Got another extension on my Newspaper cost, they were raising the price to $52 per week for home delivery. That is alot, it is already high.
Taking a break.

Saturday ... a day to play ...
Got up early so I could get the kitchen sort of in order. Still have stuff on the stove but I cleaned up the kitty plates, loaded the dishwasher and then took out the recycling and some boxes.
I have a couple of things I want to accomplish today and I am waiting for the floor man to come and deal with the floors. Just sent an email to confirm they are still planning to do them today.
So now I am working on clearing email and socials, then I will see about unboxing the bins and stacking them on the balcony. That way I can grab them when I need them and since they are plastic it won't be a problem if it rains. I think my sister is going to take a couple for here house and I am in the process of doing a lot of reorganization with bins instead of boxes.
Off to email.

Apparently there was a Truck Breakdown with the Flooring guys so they have to reschedule for Monday, which is fine.
Now I can get back to my plans and finish putting all the kitchen stuff away.
I figured something had happened because they guy said he wanted to do it in the morning.
