It's Clean your PUrse and Car Day AND time to toss anything in the bathroom and your most cluttered room that you can for five minutes.
I did my morning routine - clean the kitty boxes, fed the kitties and then I cleaned up the kitchen and got the dishwasher running. Almost out of kitty plates.
My plan today is to work in the bathroom - clean the rust stains off the bathtub and hopefully my "feet" will come for the teak bench.
I am expecting a Safeway delivery around 1O and for the first time this week there are no planned activities for me!! YEAH.
So off to do a quick email scan, grab the paper, some yogurt and play some games.

Newpaper done, dishwasher is done, but now I am cooking some mushrooms and onions! Then I will probably go work on the bathroom.
But first time to clear email and get those onions sauteeing.

Saturday ... A day to enjoy the rain ...
Lots of different chores for the day. I did manage to get the rubber feet onto the teak bench. It was pretty hard since they were the exact size of the legs, but I pried them on, LOL. Now to get the rust stains off the tub.
I unloaded the dishwasher, cleaned up the kitchen. Fed the kitties, cleaned the boxes and opened up the balcony - it felt nice out there.
I brought my Christmas Cactus in because I don't want it to be flooded by rain and it is blooming so It looks beautiful on my coffee table!
Grabbed the paper, some yogurt and heading back to bed for my pills and Sylvester's pills.

Games are played, paper is read, time to make some coffee and do a few chores!!
I need to take out recycling and I probably have a bag of trash as well.
2 bags of recycling, one trash have been delivered to the trash room.
Time for some lunch, then come chores.

Sunday .... A day for peace and reflection
Did my morning routine - clean the kitchen, clean the kitty boxes, make the coffee.
Then I cloroxed the sides of the bathroom kitty box, wiped down the floors and pulled all the stuff out to do my restocking -- haven't gotten to that yet.
I repotted the succulent that I didn't realize was just in one of those plastic pots set into a nice pot. It started dropping leaves and I picked it up and found it was barely in dirt. So this morning it got planted for real in it's pot.
Then I went down to brunch, yummy French toast and bacon. Now listening to a podcast and clearing email!
I need to pull my Christmas cards out and do a few, I have received 2 from friends, so I want to respond.

It's Home Blessing Day AND we have moved to the Master Bedroom this week and its time to grab that trash bag and start tossing clutter.
It apparently rained for awhile last night, I didn't hear it, so I forgot to bring in my chair cushion. I have opened up the balcony and flipped the cushion up to drain out. I am hoping it will dry out enough to bring it into the house before the next bout of storms.
Got a late start today, so just got the kitchen cleaned up and the coffee started.
Now working on email, the paper, yogurt and computer games.

Paper, yogurt and games done. BUT ... I swear, no matter how many boxes I take out to the bin, they keep multiplying!! I have another pile to get rid of now. My cube that I ordered for my desk came and it is perfect! So glad.
I got an email from my new apartment and I can move in on the 22nd of January. I did ask if how that will work with the rent and I was actually hoping I could move in before the end of Jan since I figure I will have to pay a full months rent here.
Now if I can just get them to not raise my rent! But it means I can start packing for real. I do have a bin full of stuff like netting, surge protectors, my modem and router, etc. so I have them together when I first move in.
Back to working on email and other stuff.

Finished up my Taran podcast, finished up the email.
So the best financial way to move is to take Jan 20 for the new place. This will give me several days to move things without the movers, like the fridge stuff, etc. I need to figure out what I can move over early so I can make a deal with my sister to load up her truck on the 20th.
I do have to review the lease -- tomorrow morning. Still haven't heard from the people hear about not increasing my rent. Just shows I made a good decision to move.
Off to check on social media.

WOW, I just got an email that they will keep my rent at the same rate thru 2026. I feel bad that I will now be turning in my notice - not that bad. But I think I will write a nice Thank you note to Jon and let him know why I am leaving. Not an email.
Any thoughts on this issue?

It's Planning Day AND time to pend 15 minutes getting rid of anything that does not belong in your bedroom.
I cleaned up the kitchen, loaded up the dishwasher and opened up the balcony. Now taking my yogurt and paper back to bed.
Later I have a packing plan, so will get started on that. Mostly I want to find all the stuff for Goodwill so I can have my sister take it away this weekend.

Read thru the lease, that took a while since it was 19 pages, LOL. I have a few questions so I will send those off to Lauren in the morning.
Then I finished up the rest of email, and moved a few things to a couple of my bins. I pulled a box to start packing some things - extra blankets, quilts and things like that.
Also I plan to pack away all my summer clothes in a box or two. So I think I will try doing a box or two everyday.

It's Anti-Procrastination Day AND time to clean off the nightstands.
I cleaned up the kitchen and got the dishwasher running. Cleared a bit of email, fed the kitties and bussed the litter boxes.
Now I am taking my yogurt and newspaper and going back to bed.

Met with the Life Management Manager regarding the Senior Helpers idea for a "wellness Check" for the residents. That was fun.
I have finally cleared all the email, reviewed all the documents! and signed my lease. I did send some questions off to the new place but the manager is gone until January 2nd. Which is fine since I don't want to pay my prorated rent until next month and I want to use the portal where I can charge it! LOL.
I have been working around the house to get all those little weird things done, putting stuff into the box or bin when it belongs. I decided to pile up the things I want my sister to help me get rid of by the front door. That gives me a landing spot for them when I run across them.
I did start packing up some knickknacks as well, so it has begun!
Off to work on the closet! I want to pack summer clothes and find those things that I want to donate to Goodwill.
