Sun stop shining on the bed so Nala left and I could put the sheets back on. But first I went and dustbusted the bathroom, then I got the fitted sheet on and now Nala is lounging on the fresh sheets. She does like the smell of fresh laundry, LOL.
I finally got a response from my Rent Reduction email. Jon is going to talk to Dave, the President, and get back to me. Dave is the "idiot" who doesn't seem to understand business and customer retention, IMO, I have often wondered if he has a business degree because of the multiple business concepts they don't seem to understand here.
My Safeway order should be here any minute and I am so annoyed I forgot to order a box of Kraft Mac/Cheese. It has been calling to me and I want the kind you have to mix yourself, LOL.
I am also wondering if I should put my "cool" blanket back on the bed under the winter blanket. I think I will give it a try. I want to be warm but not too warm.
Oh and have I mentioned that when I run my personal heater on the far side of my apartment that it blows the fuse! for the TV's and bedroom plugs. I haven't reported it yet since I am waiting for the "rent reduction".
OK, break over, time to go and finish the bed.

It's Planning Day AND time to clear out the clutter in the interior entrance of your home. Set your timer for 15 minutes and put away the shoes, jackets and mail that have piled up in this area.
I did the morning chores - feed the kitties, clean the kitty boxes, grab some yogurt and the newspapers.
Back to bed for now to watch Perry and plan my day!

LOL, Actually the Bistro has only gotten while the new manager has made the community very unhappy.
When Carlton redid the dining room with less tables and terrible chairs they didn't leave enough room for both the robots. So now only one helps serve dinner and the other is retired in The Bistro Manager's office.
I cleaned up the kitchen, got the coffee brewing and started the dishwasher. Most of my chores today will be in prep for Housekeeping tomorrow. Just need to move the bins/boxes out to the balcony - thankgoodness it is sunny today!
Off to take out the trash and grab my coffee.

Oh and Jimmer, they are normal green artificial trees, the main one has built in lights and was the one the residents normally decorated.
Apparently it's considered a "Modern Christmas Tree", sort of like this

But replace the gold balls with dried lemon slices and there are no candles, LOL. There are no bows but strips of brown/gold ribbon to drape around the tree like you would do with popcorn strings.
But you get the picture of just brown on a green tree.

It's Anti-Procrastination Day AND Today take a look at the walls and the windows in your dining room. Grab some cleaner and a cloth and go after the finger prints and smudges.
I have Housekeeping today so I have been getting ready. Unloaded the dishwasher, then cleaned up the kitchen and reloaded it. All the counters are clear and ready to go, also cleared the bathroom counters earlier. Got the cat scratchers off the floors in the living room and put the rollie on the balcony.
Now all I have to do is pick up a few boxes and stairs in the bedroom. The office is ready except for a couple of boxes that I don't take up until she gets here.
Off to the bedroom for some yogurt, the newspaper and catch up on the weather forecast.

Ok, Housekeeping game and went, she did a good job but forgot to dust. Not really a problem since I had done some dusting before she came.
I have most of the house back together but I have dinner plans so wanted to hit the shower first. Bathroom, Kitchen and office are put back together. Curlers are heating up and in a bit I will go dry my hair.
Bedroom is back together too, still need to haul everything in off the balcony and put the scratchers down in the living room.
Oh, I did pay some bills earlier this morning, also cleaned out a few cosmetics. Off to finish up email and social media.

Hooked up and monitoring, LOL. I think it took longer to explain the process then to hook me up. So now I have a little diary to write down what I am doing if I "feel" an incident. I don't think people get that I don't really feel and incident, I just feel like my heart feels funny - can't describe it, just different than normal.
Anyway, I'm home, have to drop it off tomorrow so I will see if my friend wants to go for Thai soup, her fav is by Kaiser, and I can then drop off my monitor.
Now I need to get around to my normal day, I have dinner plans at 6ish, and I opened up the balcony and sat in the sun for a bit. Now I guess I will finish up email, go read the paper and play a few computer games, then do a few chores later.

So the new Pantone Color of the Year is out ... Cloud Dancer .... it's a shade of white. Wonder if we will get another paint job on the front of the building to cover the brown.

Its Clean your PUrse and Car DAY AND time to set your timer for 15 minutes and do a chore from your list.
I brewed the coffee, cleaned up the kitchen, loaded up the dishwasher and cleaned out the fridge. Then I disconnected my heart monitor and got it ready to turn in.
After Y&R, I will call a Lyft and take it down, then when I get back I need to do a Safeway order and get some chores done around the house. Like take out all the trash from the fridge, LOL.
For now I am clearing email and social media.

Back from the drop-off, I finished clearing email and I'm working on my Safeway delivery. I only need a couple of things so I need to figure out a couple of extra things to make it worthwhile.
Got really good deals on my Lyft rides, I was concerned I would get some sort of "surge" or "lunchtime" costs but there were cheaper than the last time I had to use Lyft.

Saturday ... A day to stay in bed ...
It looks cold, blustery and gray outside which makes me want to stay in bed - watch TV, read a book, play computer games.
I did that for a while but before doing that I did clean up the kitchen - it was a mess, LOL -- I dumped the old fridge food and kitty food into the trash bag, then ran that out to the bins. Loaded up the dishwasher and got it running, also brewed some coffee.
Now I am back out of bed to do a few chores, maybe, at least clear email. There is a Holiday party, so to speak, but it's actually just a dinner for residents and family - paid for by Carlton. The only problem is I don't want to sit with a bunch of people I don't know and you can't get it to go, so I won't be going down.
Last night a woman asked if she could sit with me and I said sure if you don't mind if I read my book. She said no, then proceeded to interrupt my reading with questions about the food service. She had only lived her for 2 days and after I explained everything she said "they didn't tell me any of this".
Also I was stunned .. she is in a wheelchair and she was explaining how she had to get a shower chair and a transfer chair for her bathroom because her wheelchair won't fit thru the door!!!!!! I can't believe they can get away with not being ADA compliant! I so want to report them to multiple places.
Anyway.. back to enjoying a wonderful winter day. Off to email and I think I will watch the final of Physical Asia from Taran.

Sunday .. a day for peace and reflection ...
So I went down for brunch and you can sure tell that they are missing their best server, who was the asst manager. She left because another Sodexo place liked her so much they offered her the manager job and a bigger salary at a different location.
Back home and need to finish off the paper and play some games. I think I am done with email, but I will go check.

It's Home Blessing Day AND time to scrub your stove top. Soak the knobs and drip pans in hot soapy water while you clean the stove top.
I cleaned up the kitchen, unloaded the dishwasher, opened up the balcony and grabbed the newspaper/yogurt. Headed back to bed to figure out the day.

It's Planning Day AND time to clean the silverware or cooking utensil drawer.
Just getting started, grabbed the paper and some yogurt. Back to bed, the plan is to start my chores at 10am. So I better hurry up and read the paper and play computer games.
I am cleaning the office litter box area, I have the gloves, the 409, the Clorox wipes and I am planning a shower afterward, LOL.

The kitty boxes are done!! I had to take the shields off and wash the poop off in the shower, I made sure there was no litter on them. Then I cleaned the interior edges of the boxes, pulled them out from the wall.
I probably didn't mention that Sylvester has some issues with diarrhea and he is good about going in his box but sometimes his butt is actually on the edge so it goes over! That is why I got the shields, then I turned the boxes around so the little dips to "step in" were at the back.
This has worked well until the other day when some hit the wall behind the boxes. I pulled the boxes out and cleaned the wall, then swept and cleaned the floor. Now it's all back together with a nice carboard backing where the walk in dips are.
Now I have stripped off my rubber gloves, and I used a ton of Clorox wipes, plus I sprayed the wall with some 409. So I think we are good for awhile and now I can take a shower and get ready for my friends birthday dinner.
Did I mention that I also got my laundry sorted out so I can send that off ... but first shower!!!
