Saw Knight and Day. Fun and entertaining. Cruise was not annoying.

Also saw Knight and Day... enjoyable but not worth the full price of admission IMHO. I'd have been happy watching it on TV for free or cheaper at least on Cable.

Inception was excellent! Makes you think, interesting and unusual storyline, and great ending.

But it is 2.5hrs long so get your potty break in beforehand.

I am really hoping Inception comes to the theater near me in open caption format.

Salt is good. Lots of action, a twist here and there and a pretty good ending.

My roommate put on "Remember the Titans" the other night. I had forgotten how much I liked that movie. I recommend it to everyone. Even now, 10 years after it was released.

Going the Distance (Drew Barrymore, Justin Long) was pretty good. Lots of swearing, one drug use, Justin Long almost naked, so it earned its R rating, but it was funny and sweet but not too sappy.

I have seen only about six movies in theatres since I got married 15 years ago, but I saw "Date Night" this summer with my Mom, my sister, my nephew and my daughter. Steve Carrell is just mentally out-of-whack in such a funny way. Tina Fey starred, too, and both actors were really well cast and did a great job. Funny movie.

Do avoid Brendan Fraser's "Furry Vengeance," unless you're looking for a way to blow an hour and a half with some kids. My kids made me see that one shortly after my sister made me break my moratorium on movies. It was predictable, funny in places, but not worth the price of a ticket these days. Movie ticket prices are outrageous!!

If you're talking about movies that have been out for a while, "Pride and Prejudice" with Kiera Knightley was something I hadn't seen till last week. I really enjoyed seeing the special features on the DVD, too, after watching the movie. Then I watched the movie in its entirety with the commentary. I love special features on DVDs; that's why I buy DVDs.

Sia, I agree with your review of Date Night and Furry Vengeance. Thank goodness I didn't pay to see it at the movies but my daycare kids found it funny. I could have nodded off. Date Night was hilarious!

I highly recommend The Social Network. It is the story of how Facebook was created.

We saw Secretariat. I enjoyed it. I don't remember when it happened because I was a bit young. The film is family friendly and DD, 8, liked it as well. I think I probably enjoyed Seabuiscuit movie a bit more overall.

Thanks Brenda,I liked SB too. Per usural we can never make it to the movies on time and then the next showing is too late.
We go to The Movie Tavern-recliners,excellent food,my personal fave is the tempura shrimp and a full bar.

We have a movie tavern too, but usually sit in rolling office style chairs. I don't really like them, but they are at a counter which works best for DD.
