Has anyone seen ads for this next Nicolas Cage movie? Jay Baruchel - who has already had a really big year, stars as the apprentice to Nicolas Cage's wizard character. Cage seems right in his element as this sort of off the wall and powerful sorcerer

Waiting for the reviews. Seems too iconic a character for Disney to mess with unless they were going to ensure it's done right but Cage? Ads look interesting anyway.

I think the film is in good hands - Jerry Bruckheimer, Nicolas Cage and Jon Turteltaub all worked on National Treasure and those movies were huge, so I have faith that his will be equally entertaining. If I come across any advanced reviews, I will be sure to post them!

I saw this recently, too. Inevetibly, I compare it to Percy Jackson's Lightning Thief...and I think Lightning Thief is much better. But this movie was entertaining, and if they do sequels, I'll watch them. If I were to give this one a grade, maybe 6.5/10.
