Disclosure day...it is billed as a Spielberg summer blockbuster....it's not even close to that. It is ok but it's not action packed. It honestly could have been a Netflix film

Oh no, although I do appreciate your review of Disclosure Day, I'm a bit disappointed to hear it could have been a Netflix film.
Last night, I ordered a ticket/seat to see Disclosure Day on Sunday around noon. Luckily I paid Senior price, but still expensive.

So okay, I saw Disclosure Day today at 12:30pm.
I have mixed feeling about this movie. Like Pamy said, it could be a Netflix movie, but an awesome Netflix movie. I'm glad I saw it on the big screen and it was entertaining for sure. I'm into UFO's and aliens.

I finally saw the Odyssey last night, three week wait for tickets on 70mm screen. Three hour movie that I really enjoyed and it didnt even seem like a 3 hour movie. Matt Damon was very good in the movie. Definitely recommend.

The filmmaking in the Odyssey is what impressed me the most. Not green screen or cgi, but puppets and camera angles and extras in various sizes. They really did a marvelous job creating that world.

My friend and I went to see "The Invite" when I was in Toronto. A GREAT movie. Go see it.

There is a moving coming out, only scheduled for release in Ireland next week, in the UK and Europe October 9. Produced by Liam Neeson. It is a story most are unaware of but for the determination of a farmer's wife in Ireland, would never have been given the attention. Catherine Corless wrote a book about it and it is about the Mothers and Babies homes in Ireland. the movie is called "The lost children of Tuam". I read her book and have seen documentaries about Tuam so I am gratified that Neeson produced the movie for the purpose of bringing attention to it and forcing the Irish Government and the Catholic Church to move faster on this. The timing is great because there is another mother and baby home named Beesborough that Siobhan McSweeney is bringing attention to. Look out for the movie and when I get more info re release dates in the US, I will post.
