Angelina Jolie to direct "Unbroken" based on the book (which I recently finished) by Lauren Hillenbrand. Release date is Dec. 2014
Jack O'Connell will play Louie Zamperini
Not a pleasant subject matter,but I have faith in A.J

Wow! AJ a director !! and to direct the story of a survivor, which could be very complex if we consider the harsh environment, the poor fellow survived at sea after all, a whole ocean to fight, that could be a major task as a director, unless they do it in a fake environment, like they did Titanic (most of it in a huge water tank) and Life of Pi (I couldn't believe it was all fake).
But Angelina a director of such a great story, Wow!! I wish her the best!!

On another note, I have noticed that Brokeback Mountain has not been discussed. Is it because of the subject matter? I thInk the movie was well put together.
