This show is turning out to be one of my new favorites, except for Mandy Patinkin. There are 4 shows that I can remember seeing him. Criminal Minds, Dead Like Me, Chicago Hope, and this one. To me it feels like he plays the same character in every single show. Just a different name and look. I've really had enough of him for a lifetime.

What Naja said.. show after show.. good show.MandyPatinkin.he leaves show. Luckily some shows are smart enough to get someone talented and move on without him.. Dead Like Me.. huge loss.
Not always the same character but you just hate to love the shows sometimes.
I'm watching for Claire Danes.

Last week when Brodie(sp?) looked at the camera and lied gave me chills!! I'm so hooked on this show!

I'm not sure why everyone thinks Mandy left "Dead Like Me"? He was on every episode until the very end when it was canceled. The only thing he didn't do was come back for the awful movie a few years later.
eta: and as much as I loved DLM, it was getting really bad by the end of the second season.

This show is amazing. We just watched Sunday's episode last night. Hubby was convinced the Mandy Patinkin character was the mole, but now we think not. I was really shocked by the guy they thought was dead is the soldier who was turned. Really excellent writing. Didn't see that one coming at all!

I think it is probably the most compelling of all the new shows I've watched this season, while of course noting that I haven't seen all of the new shows by a long shot.

Seamonkey I could not agree more and I have probably seen most of the new shows out right now!! I cannot wait for Sundays to get here to watch Homeland even over Dexter!!

Finally got to see this past weeks episode. This show just gets better and better. In a way it reminds me of a great show that was on BBC America and you can rent the DVID, called the State Within. This is what good TV is all about.

i shouldnt have started this while my hubby is still in Afgan. gave me nightmares. I watched 8 eps in last 3 days! soooo good
I love that we still dont really know if Brody is good or working for bad guys.
I think this show is a little anti military which i dont like

I missed last nights episode waiting for it to come up on In Demand. I totally loved this show. the twists, all the angst. so many layers to the characters, it was great. Not sure if I agree that the show is anti military --

I don't think it's anti-military either. It's anti-terrorist. Maris, where do you live? Homeland is on Sunday nights here. Hubby and I think this is one of the best shows on TV. Totally engrossing. We're always disappointed when it ends. We want more!

I live in NY, I thought it was on Saturday nights. Could be it is on SUnday nights, I tend to watch it on "on-demand". There are so many twists, it is very good. I am a fan of Mandy Pantimkin and he doesn't have many of them, lol and I have been a fan of Clare Danes since My so called life.
I think the acting is great and all the sub plots are believable.

100 percent agree. That was definitely an emmy award winning performance. The end was just so crazy but 100% believable. So without revealling any story line to someone who may not be up to date, anyone have an opinion on who the "insider" is.
