Most of the show was covered in the previews, so I'm hoping that the 2nd ep will be more exciting.

I really thought it was good, and well done. I like the moving back and forth between the time periods and places. I think it will keep getting better. Just my first impressions.

Merged the threads. Looks like an interesting show. Unfortunately, I forgot it was on but hopefully I can catch it somewhere else.

I liked it very much. Love mythical stuff mixing with the modern world, and this seems to fit the bill.

Did I hear this right...Emma has a special gift and can tell if someone is lying?

Yep, Egbok, a lot like Warehouse 13's Agent Steve Jinks. That's how she knows the evil queen/mayor doesn't really love Henry...

I really enjoyed it. It's beautifully shot. I'll keep watching to see the wicked witch get her comeuppance!

Does the present day mayor know she's the evil queen? I feel sorry for Henry.

Twiggy, I think the end was kind of trying to tell us that. When she was smirking into the mirror with the book in hand. I took the 'special gift' as her just having a good instinct about people and lying. I'm not sure it's an actual special gift (as in something mythical).

I loved the ending when the clock moved ahead, and Henry got such a big smile on his face - I smiled too! LOL

The opening scene was excellent, reminded me a bit of the Lord of the Rings digital landscape, then the classical scene of Snow White being awaken by Prince Charming, but something is off, she's not the most beautiful in the world and he's not the most dashing prince, they're downright human and they suffer like we all do, and the first time we see Snow White giving birth like any screaming mother to be, and there is no happy ending... well, I said, that's new! Then the present world with a gorgeous looking girl (don't you like when she's not around House) and we understand they're all the same characters spawned by that storybook the boy had. It has an interesting spin on fairy tales and I enjoyed it, finally something else beside crimes and lawyers. Someone mentioned it might be cancelled, well, I don't expect all shows to be renewed, it's enough that we get to watch something new even if for a short while.

Did anybody notice that at the end of the show Henry looking off at the clocktower, and the clock that had been stuck at 8:15 moved ahead one minute, now that the girl has come back to fight the battle. The 8:15 is a nice shoutout to LOST, as was the one scene of the opening eye in the middle. I loved this. A perfect amount of whimsy for me. I do hope the clout of LOST producers can keep it on the air long enough to grow legs.

Did anyone notice that little nod to "Lost"? The evil queen's house number was 108! On "Lost" they had to push the button of the computer every 108 minutes and... 4+8+15+16+23+42= 108 Loved the show....granted, I thought it would be darker and creepier than it was, but I see great potential in it. Casting "Dr Rush" from Stargate Universe as Rumplestilskin was perfect!

I like Jennifer Morrison as Emma. She has just the right amount of tough exterior and maternal instincts. Great role for her!
