CBS are shortening seasons of some shows next year to make room for other new shows midseason.
Fire Country will be 13 episodes long.
NCIS: Origins will be 10 episodes.
NCIS: Sydney will be 10 episodes.
Mattock will be 13 episodes.
I don’t know how that bodes for their futures.

I can see it as a cost saving measure for CBS. Probably cheaper to make those new shows than paying big stars for those extra episodes. After Paramount's leveraged deal to buy Warner Brothers, they will probably be doing a lot of cost cutting, everywhere they can.

Bummer about Brilliant Minds and Watson. Two shows that I like, both about brilliant docs making difficult diagnoses. Both having brain tumors. Oh well.

I loved the first 3 or 4 episodes of Brilliant Minds, but then it got boring for me and I stopped watching.
I knew within 10 minutes of the first ep of Stumble it would be gone. It was so bad. I was so ticked they canceled Lopez V Lopez for it. Happy's PLace and LVL were supposed to be my new Friday nights.

Stumble was just horrible. I wish Taran Killam would find a vehicle that could match his talent. He’s more talented than his choices of roles show.

I believe the first couple of seasons of NCIS: Sydney were only 10 or 12 episodes so it was a surprise that S3 is 20 episodes.
