I thought I would quit this show when they took Gideon. I adored him. Glad to hear all the regulars are coming back and can't wait for the show on Wed. My absolute fav show!!

They didn't get rid of Gideon, he left on his own. Mandy Patinkin has a habit of doing that.

I am not sure I am going to be able to continue watching this show if they are going to keep it an ongoing story line and not available online to catch up on a missed episode. I liked it better when each episode was a stand alone story. Haven't watched tonight's episode yet.

I think the only ongoing story will be how everyone feels about the lie about Emily and how that will effect them. I think Derek is going to have some issues.
It was great having the gang all back together tonight.

Mandy left saying the violence and darkness of the show was ever increasing and he could and would not deal with it.
I haven't seen the opener looking so forward to catching up on it tonight

Well, I don't take anything Mandy Patinkin says seriously. He also left Chicago Hope after only a couple of seasons because he had "issues."

Oh good. I was tired of that ongoing Emily fiasco. I thought the show last night was a hot mess, jumping back and forth in time. Sorry to see the "boss" lady back too. She's such a downer.

Did Hotch appear to look older to any of you? He seems to have aged a bit in his face over the summer break. I'm not referring to when he had the beard, I'm speaking of when they showed him without it.
Reed seems to change his hairstyle every season. I'm not a fan of his current style. Is it permed? It appeared curly or something.
I was disappointed in Mandy when he left the show because he does have a reputation for doing such things. It's fine if you want to leave, but apparently he hadn't told the show's cast and crew that he was leaving; if I recall correctly it came as a shock to them and they had to scramble to come up with a way to write him out. Doesn't sound too professional.

I don't know why anyone would hire him. He's good, but he's not that good.

Thank goodness they are going back to regular format. Oh! I guess they made it into a serial just to hook us from one season to the next? I think it backfired. They almost lost me because you had to have watched the previous one to keep up with the storyline.

I'm glad the band is back together, and it sounded like JJ has become a profiler like the rest of the team (other than Garcia, of course). It's good they wrapped the Doyle storyline and can get on to better things...
