Winning bid was US $5,204.45. I could have paid that! Darn!
Of course, I would have had to fly myself there, and also pay for a hotel for the time I was there, but I could have done it! LOL

Robert Picardo. He's well known in sci-fi fandom as the Doctor in Star Trek: Voyager, and Mr. Kinsey in the Stargate universe.

Finale already? My DVR is jam-packed, so I have some catching up to do. I agree with you that this is a nice new series. I enjoy the relationship between Castle and Beckett. I considered not watching the series, however, because I'd seen "Slither" just before the series began. Nathan Fillion starred in that film. That movie was disgusting!

Thanks, Lycanthrope. I never watch sci-fi. I remember (?) him from The Wonder Years and a small part towards the end of the China Beach series. When I see him now, my first thought always is
Douglas Brackman / Alan Rachins from L.A. Law. Goes back just a few years.
And here's Picardo
There's a resemblance, yes? It's not just the bald heads? Picardo is about ten years younger.

Our DVR self-destructed just as we were getting set to watch our recording of Castle last night. Grrrrrrr. We had 77 shows on there to watch which we do sometimes during the day while DH works and also late at night while he's waiting for some computer program he's written runs. I'd be royally ticked off if I hadn't been able to watch Castle on ABC.com.

Beckett with longer hair is a plus.
Cannell and Connelly in the poker game again was cool.
I'm glad they came to a truce so we could have our show again.
The actual story was pretty ordinary. Hope they push the envelope a little more as the season progresses.

I was underwhelmed by the first show of the season. I really like Nathan Fillion though, he was so funny with Neil Patrick Harris on the Emmy's.

I discovered this show during a mini marathon ABC was running. I loved it!! I liked the premiere but I hope the show builds as the season goes on.

Loved it, too.
Nathan Fillion is so awesome. Correcting the grammar on the corpse with his, "whoever killed her also murdered the English language" line was great.
It's so funny that his police vest says, "Writer".
