Naja, I love a challenge and gave it a shot but had no luck. I did find a show in the 70s called The Quest, but there was no Emma.

I’m seeing -

House of Ashes for Rachel
The Quarry for Emma

Both seem to be interactive video games?

Could be! I wouldn't know if the answer is right or not. I thought it would be more obvious, but I am seeing it's not so easy.

CIA -- Anyone watching? My friend told me that Tom Ellis, former Lucifer, was in it. I really loved him so have started watching just to hear him talk, LOL.

Dipo, I am watching CIA. I struggled with it when it first started. probably because I was pissy about them canceling FBI: Most Wanted and International. However, the show has gotten much better since it premiered.

I found a show I'd heard nothing about and wound up staying up late to finish all 8 episodes! Great cast, Sci-fi theme, original plot.

The Boroughs (Netflix)

Alfred Molina (star and writer of the series)
Alfre Woodard
Denis O'Hare
Clarke Peters
Carlos Miranda
Davis Bill Pullman
Some cameos, including:
Ed Begley Jr
Mary Mcdonnell (Major Crimes)

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt27557289/?ref_=fn_i_1

Retirement in a desert retirement community can be a lot less relaxing than one might think.

By the time it ended I thought it was a "miniseries" because the ending seemed to have been all wrapped up, but IMDB lists it as "TV Series".

Go for it....you won't be disappointed!

The Circle is moving from Netflix to Hulu. “Celebs” will play alongside the common folk. 😉 The new version will be played in real time and have audience voting.

I really need to look at my tv subscriptions closer.

I noticed today that my free Paramount+ through my Walmart+ also has the live Showtime channels and VOD! (plus I pay $50 for the whole year to get premium without commercials). I dug around and nowhere does it say in my walmart+ account that it is Paramount+ "with Showtime". I am just relieved I don't also have to pay for Showtime when Dexter rolls around.

In case that made no sense, I pay a total of $50 for the whole year for commercial free Paramount+ with Showtime through my Walmart plus account. That's a deal!

I am watching a show on Hulu -- Furious -- first three episodes are streaming. It is about an FBI agent who is trying to catch a female serial killer. We all know from the beginning who the serial killer is. The FBI agent, left the NYPD as a detective because she had been beaten up by her cop boyfriend and was forced out of the dept. Good so far

ANNA PIGEON - USA -- Anyone watching? I really like it, the show is based on Nevada Barr books based in multiple national parks.

I imagine they will keep her in one park for a while to solve interesting crime/problems.

I love when I accidentally run across one of these on social media. It's actually a user created TV show made up of very short videos. This one has episodes less than a minute. It originated on TikTok but she put a copy on youtube.

This one starts out as a girl named Mia doing a self help series which takes a scary turn.

"Miamakesmanifest"

Be sure to click "oldest first" to watch them in order.

Naja, that was quite the scary turn, not at all what I was expecting. It gives me Blair Witch Project vibes. I don't know what is going on!

Mak1, I finally learned what those little shows are called.

"Unfiction". Unfiction is when a fictional story represents itself as real. Like the story I posted above.

Then there is "ARG". ARG is different in the sense that it also requires audience participation.

Streaming question:

With so many shows now available on streaming only, how do you all keep track of when new episodes and new seasons are being broadcast?

My memory is terrible. Just realized that I had missed several weeks of the Challenge, one of my favorite shows, because it is only on ParamountPlus.

Ideas? My old addled brain appreciates suggestions.

This works well. Thanks for bringing it up. I have a couple shows to add.

eta: it even emails you when a new season of one of your shows is starting.

I add them to my calendar that I use on my phone. In the past, I have also written the days of the week on a post it and put the shows that drop on those days. Keep it by the tv

Naja, do you use that on your phone? I couldn't get it to work on mine... came up in French, wouldn't switch to English. So I was lost in how to navigate. Kept wanting me to download an app?

Pamy, my calendar is very cluttered with medical info, so I'd be worried about messing that up and losing that info in the shuffle. :-(

I looked it up and it has lots of wonderful reviews from French people in Quebec, but that isn’t terribly helpful for anyone who speaks English.

Kar, I swear I can't find a single French word.

I looked in settings(the cog to the right of log in name at top of home page) and clicked "set up". Here is how my language settings are set.

Thanks, Naja... just too difficult for me. I did go to the settings and didn't get anything like what you are seeing. Not sure why.

Periodically I would get a pop up asking me my preferred language and I would choose English, and then that one page would translate. But as soon sa I went to another page, it was back to French.

Guess there's a reason it's a BETA version?
