Really like the opening. I was watch that hearing and my blood was boiling.
So this version turned it into what I was thinking.

I didn't even recognize Tina Fey at first!

You're right. Definitely better than last week :-)

I wouldn’t have recognized her either. I missed the cold open and watched it later and knew it was Tina as she had been on the show. What a difference!

Ashley Padilla worked as Diane Keaton’s assistant for some time. She posted a sweet picture on Instagram. I tried to post the photo but had trouble. If you scroll down it is in this Parade magazine link.

Cast member Sarah Sherman's very first comedy special is on HBO tonight.
It's called "Sarah Squirm: Live + In The Flesh".

Naja, if you watch it, let us know what you think. I like her but, looking at the trailer, I’m not sure it’s my thing.

Rieann, her special was awful. It seemed like her point was just to gross us out. I barely made it through half of it. I like her so much on SNL, so I really wanted to like her special. The reviews seem mixed.

I watch SNL pretty regularly. Sarah Silverman is one of the few players that, when I see that she’s going to be in a skit, I cringe. I’m not surprised that you thought her point was to gross you out, because I think that’s exactly what she does sometimes on SNL. I can always tell when she had a hand in writing the skit. To me, she pushes the limits and not in a good or funny way.

Cher is the musical guest next week! I won't have to FF :-)

One of my least favorite people is the host. Ariana Grande.

LOL, so glad to see someone else who isn't on the Ariana Grande train. I just don't think her voice is that good.

Thanks, Naja. I’ll give it a pass. I like her but not her Sarah Squirm persona.

I think the SNL staff love Ariana. She’s on it a lot.

Ariana has an amazing voice and is very talented but is also problematic in other ways.

I will miss Bowen Yang. His final skit was a clever way to say goodbye to this job.

It was a very nice closing performance for him. He’s quite talented. It won’t be long before we see him in another movie or on Broadway.

It was a great goodbye. I will miss him for sure.

I have to say I was cringing at Cher’s lip-syncing. I hate it when performers do that. She made up for it singing with Bowen.

I thought SNL didn’t allow lip syncing by anyone. What I thought was that Cher was actually singing, but it was so heavily processed to get that weird sound. She seemed to be singing in the 2nd song though and with Bowen.

Kooklie, it's the same effect she puts on the released song as well. If she didn't do it on SNL, it wouldn't sound anything like the released song.

The Elf on the Shelf was the funniest skit I've seen them do in a while. Will miss Bowen! I hope he gets a tV show or more movies.

I saw a skit about selling Christmas trees with Ariana that was really funny. I dont know why they cut it from the show
