Resident Alien cancelled by Syfy, current Season 4 will be the last. (I thought they’d already said S4 would be the last.)

Resident Alien was supposed to have been picked up by USA Network - but it's been two years since the last season was on air so who knows.

All the articles say SYFY/USA have cancelled it. So it's gone.

Lexie, the new (and now final) season 4 is currently airing, should be on Syfy and USA Network on Fridays at 10pm/7pm.

Kitt, I didn't know that. I have now set my recording for USA but is this the first episode of the season or did I miss the premiere? ETA: Now I see it has been on since June 6 but fortunately I can catch up on Peacock

Oh I hear ya, Pamy. I gave up about 8 years ago. Yep, I looked it up. Exactly 8 years. The season after Glenn was killed.

I continued to watch until the finale but the show ended in my heart when Glenn was killed.

I was walking my pup this morning and a woman came running up to me and asked if I watched the Gilded Age. One of the characters has a cavalier that looks just like my little one. I really enjoyed last night's episode.

Honestly, on paper it doesnt seem like something I would have chosen to watch. My friend convinced me to try it and I was hooked. It follows a few families in the 1800s in New York. It shows how old money looked down on the new money people coming to town. It has wonderful sets, costumes, and the acting is superb. It is about relationships and the climb to the top for one of the new money people. It is based on real people. Vanderbuilt family. It is not factual accurate all the time and many people are composites on a few people.

It is composites of real people but they seem to be getting a lot of it correct. I was reading an article today about how they really nailed all these characters on TV to their real-life counterparts (to the point they even look like them).
