Dipo, I have never watched a Halloween movie or anything involving ghosts or zombies. When one of the first Chucky movies came out, I watched it and had bad dreams for a week. I'm a puss. There's no way I could watch Surreal Estate.

OMG, I can't do those Halloween movies or chucky either.
NOt a fan of horror stuff, but for some reason Surreal Estate doesn't bother me.

Tvwatcher, I has posted about it back in May when I first found the movies. I'll post what I said.
"Does anybody watch the Mystery 101 series on Hallmark? They have made 6 feature length episodes since 2019, and the latest aired March 22. I'm enjoying it a lot. I'm only on ep 3.
Every ep is a new mystery with the same major stars. IMDB synopsis says " Amy, a college professor teaching "Whodunnit" fiction and amateur sleuth, helps the police and Detective Travis solve murder mysteries.", but what they left out is Detective Travis is very annoyed a crime fiction teacher is helping him. haha
It's fun, and the eps are in on-demand."
So I think it's both. Feature length movies, and a series

Just finished watching the second episode of Surreal Estate. I LOVE this show! It's a little bit spooky (not too gory or creepy), a little bit funny and a little bit sweet (loved the main character playing mini golf with the ghost of his late dad!). They're doing a great job of hitting the sweet spot: fun, but not overly scary. Perfect!

I was disappointed with Mr. Corman the new show created, produced, written, directed and starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
I think he is quite talented but the show misses, it is lackluster and a bit crass. Too bad.

I canât wait to hear feedback about Fantasy Island. I was dreading watching it because the reboots of so many of my old shows have seen them twisted into something more sinister, more graphic. They have lost the joy, the lightness of the originalsâŠâŠ..Nancy Drew, Sabrina, Riverdale etc etc. Fantasy Island though stuck so closely to the original formula and THAT disappointed me, so they just were not going to win. Lol. Without spoiling, the one story that was completely resolved left me cold. The other one was a set up for future episodes so I guess I will see how that one unfolds. Will watch one more but I probably wonât be sticking with it beyond that.

Sugar, I am not sure what to think about Mr. Corman. I went into it thinking it was going to be something very different, something lighter. Itâs kinda hopeless and depressing (only seen 2 episodes) so even if it was Emmy worthy acting and writing, itâs just not what I want to be watching right now.

}I thought the same, Rissa. It was so dreary and nobody was likable. I have only seen 1 episode and will try 1 or 2 more hoping it improves, if not, well another show to delete.
