Burden of Truth cancelled by CBC and therefore the CW.
Current season 4, finishing tonight on CBC, will be the last. The CW still expected to air it later this year.

Kitt, this is off topic, but what is considered the Hollywood of England? I mean where are most English shows with a studio made? I guess maybe I should say all of UK instead of just England? Not sure.

The main lots are just west of London. They have a satellite studio in Toronto though (which I didn't know until I looked up the website for Naja!).

American Gods cancelled by Starz. There will be no Season 4 but there may be a wrap up movie (although don't they always say that, then it doesn't happen).

This was the show I looked forward to the most all year long.
I love American Gods and I just finished binging all of season 3 so it's still fresh on my mind. Now I'm already missing it even more because of this news.
A follow up movie would be great, but Netflix taking it over would be much better. Leaving it to just sit there forever on that final scene is just tragic.

I thought you wouldn’t like that news. I really wanted to like the show as I tend to go for the very graphic arty(?) ones like that, but I just got so lost with the plot I didn’t try season 2. I think it would be perfect for binging. Maybe it will find a new home.

Really, Pamy? Honestly he cracks me up, I think the actor is so talented! And he always seems to come around.
But keep in mind that the adult Sheldon was just like that, so it would be strange for young Sheldon to somehow be less self involved than his adult version.

He wasnt my fav on BBT either but I have loved this little kid up until recently. The actor is fabulous. I love Missy and Georgy, the kids that play them do a wonderful job. I could watch them and Annie Potts all day

Pamy, your post cracked me up. Why, you ask? I stopped watching Big Bang Theory because adult Sheldon was so tiring and rude. And yes, it was exhausting to watch when he was onscreen!
I think the kid version of Sheldon is funny but mainly because he's an adult nerd in a kid's body. The worst part of it is that we all know poor young Sheldon will never grow out of his obnoxious personality.
Which reminds me....I think they should do a crossover so Laurie Metcalf can appear....hey maybe the mom could have a dream or hit her head and have a fantasy episode where Laurie Metcalf (the actress's mother IRL) could play her as an old lady from the future.

Sanfran, I love that scenario! I think another thing that bothers me is adult Sheldon talked about how awful his dad was. Seeing his dad now we see his dad tried but Sheldon treating him like he was beneath him. We get rare glimpses of niceness.
