Richard will have to take a few months off to heal from the surgery while TPTB will decide if he is coming back next season.

I saw an interview with the actor who plays Richard (sorry, can't remember the source) and he said when this storyline was pitched that he was concerned about the character's fate but that he was reassured that Richard would live to see another season (not his words but what I remember thinking throughout the course of reading the interview). Of course we all know things can change but there are still too many roads to travel with Richard - hopefully this means good things for his security on the show.

What sis the wedding planner say to Teddy when she was raking down decorations. That is when power cut out

The wedding planner was surprised Owen hadn't told Teddy he got called to the hospital for an emergency. (something like that. I don't remember exactly.)

If Owen only postponed it for an emergency, she would have left them up for the next day.

Is anyone still watching? I had to scroll way down to find this thread. It was surprising and nice to see McDreamy this week. The show overall was exhausting with so many storylines happening all at once at such a frantic pace. It was hard to follow the sudden switches from past to present too. I do still like this show though.

Yes, it did switch around too much. Did Meredith collapse due to stress/exhaustion, or did she just randomly trip?

We don't know, but I assume is was due to stress/exhaustion.

I think it'll turn out that she has Covid. That's perfect for a show that thrives on overwrought drama. I'll go so far as to predict she goes on a ventilator but unlike so many Covid patients IRL, she'll get better after that.

That would give plenty of time for McDreamy hallucinations.

I think it is COVID. I still watch this, and Station 19 as well.

My first thought it was Covid. It’s she leaving after this season?

As far as I have heard Ellen Pompeo has not indicated that she plans on leaving after this season...and Shonda RHimes has already said when Ellen goes the show goes.

Ellen in a recent interview would not commit, one way or the other. The is doing some directing, per Debbie Allen, who is featured in People (the user with Biden on the cover, and Alex Trebek too.

Does anyone really believe that TPTB would kill the cash cow of Grey's Anatomy by letting Mer die?

If Shonda and Ellen agree to end it, it will end.

I hate waiting until March for new episodes of Greys, Station 19 and A Million Little Thing!

She was awake and better (even chatting with Tom), but then something happened and she relapsed. Ellen P. has an easy gig this year, making millions for pretending to be in a coma and a few walks on a beach, lol. As far as last night, wow, didn't really expect that! Greys likes to kill characters off in a surprising way. I did like him (but not in a relationship with Meredith). And Jo is TOTALLY going to adopt that baby, lol.

I think Ellen P has taken on more roles than just acting. Liked DeLuca, but his story arc had already been fully explored. I hope he gets another gig, as I like him as an actor. Preferably one that has him speaking Italian.
