Definitely with ya' on the crying, Pamy! Another sign of a great show! Hecka - My son told me to watch Flow, so it's on my list. It will probably be June until I can get to it, but it sounds amazing!

What bugged me the most in the White Lotus finale was when Belinda treated Pornchai exactly like Jennifer Coolidge treated her in s02. She gave him hope that he would realize his dream and led him to believe she'd help him financially and then she just blew him off like he was nothing, just like Jennifer Coolidge did to her...and Belinda was oblivious to her cruel actions. I thought that most (not all) of the ones that died were lost causes...but the stuck up family still had a slight possibility for redemption. The father was a mess but he seemed to be understanding his part in his situation and he did stop his attempt to kill his whole family by poisoning them, except for the one that said he'd be able to survive all his own without money. I thought the father was trying to "save" his family for a future they couldn't bear. The daughter and both of her brothers seem to be reassessing who they were. I was upset when I thought Lochlan had died, but that got fixed. Goggins and his father were both pretty despicable, but it seemed that Goggins realized how wrong he was, but only after his girlfriend died when he sacrificed himself, knowing he'd be shot if he didn't stop walking away. I saw that as a spark of last resort redemption, too. The Russians were no big loss. This was a great 2 day binge for me!

I love Pitt (and loved ER). Didn't love Grey's Anatomy much. And THe Pulse, I probably like the least of them. I'm just not finding the lead character very likable so far, and maybe that is the point. That they will lead us to not like her and then give us the whole story and then we'll be on her side. But so far, i'm just not loving these characters. And some of the stuff just seems fake to me. I'm disappointed.

ER remains one of my top three shows of all time but ironically Noah (Carter) was my least favorite of the regulars - at least until his Africa days... but i definitely have enjoyed the Pitt.

I just saw on the news that ER is suing The Pitt. They claim it's not like ER or similar to ER or based on ER....that it IS ER. Apparently The Pitt has many or the same producers, writers, etc...as ER. At one point there were talks about the return of ER between the two groups, but when that failed, the Pitt folks just made the show on their own and changed the name to The Pitt. This irl courtroom drama would make a great movie...starring Noah Wiley and George Clooney, of course.) Here's an article: https://collider.com/the-pitt-er-lawsuit-explained/

I started TASK on HBO. It is dark but the acting is really good. I love Mark Raffalo and it also has Fabien Frankel from House of Dragon

Has anyone watched The Dark Money Game? It’s a documentary detailing the corruption of money in politics, mainly Citizens United. The first episode is about the Ohio legislature and the speaker of the Ohio house got brought down. The second is about the Heritage Foundation and the Supreme Court. It’s things we’ve heard of but gives much more background. Makes it even more infuriating.

I just got hbo max for a cheap price but I can’t remember for how long, at least a few months. I just finished season 2 of White Lotus which I thought wasn’t as good as 1. Season 2 was a bit boring. I do love the visuals though. I’ll get to season 3 soon. What should I try next? I loved Sex and The City but I’m afraid that all the social justice awareness may get on my nerves with And Just Like That. What else is good on HBO? I like period pieces, anything really.

Gilded Age sounds right up my alley. We will try The Sopranos but may not keep my husbands attention with his dementia. I have seen Big Love and True Blood and did love those.

You will love Boardwalk Empire. It stars Steve Buscemi as sort of a crime boss/politician in 1920s-30's Atlantic City during Prohibition.

I’ll give Boardwalk Empire a try. Did I read that Game Of Thrones was hard to follow?

Lakecat, I had to let go of the idea I could track the family names/characters at first. I got frustrated at not following them and feeling confused. Just let go and know that you will eventually have the names down.

Even though they didn’t stick the landing, so to speak, Game of Thrones was an absolutely wonderful series.

Boardwalk Empire is fantastic. Game of thrones can be entertaining. Sometimes it feels like they are just telling you events and names (that I also couldn't follow) without any action. But still when it had action, it was compelling. I ended up watching House of Dragon as well. So I agree with just not worrying about remembering all the names.
