Animal Kingdom hasn't really been without Smurf yet. She died in the the penultimate ep last season. It's one of my favorite shows and I can't even imagine how next season without her will be any fun. She was the glue that held everything together.

Really? Wow. Well, that underscores my feelings. I guess just having an ep and a half without Smurf had more of an impact on me than I thought. It felt like the show had ended and started to drag along without without holding my interest already. It truly felt like a series finale.
I remember her dying but not much of anything after that (now that I'm trying to remember it).
I feel like I did when Scott Speedman was killed off, only a lot more so, but with Barkin out of the picture, I'm not positive I'll stick with it anymore. I will watch when it returns, but I can't promise them I'll stay til the bitter end.
(I feel like I did when I tried watching Suits after "Mike Ross" left and just couldn't get into it.)
