So the British baking show christmas show is two episodes. The second one had me laughing out loud, tears running down my face. it was celebrity new year show and the celebrities were from the show the Derry Girls. I am Irish so I get the accents, some may find them hard to understand but absolutely hilarious.

Started watching "Bridgerton" yesterday on Netflix. I love it. It's like Jane Austen, only it's not.

Totally agree, Babyjaxmom! The actress who plays the Queen is a complete riot - each of her scenes leaves me in stitches. I'm on episode 6 and I'll be sad when I've finished all 8 episodes. The absolute bonus is Julie Andrews as the narrator - she's a riot, too.

I am enjoying Bridgerton as well. I am on ep 4. I just love the little round faced actress that plays Penelope. I hope she finds an awesome husband

I just watched a movie on Netflix called "The Midnight Sky". It stars George Clooney and others I recognized and it was also directed by George Clooney. I plan on watching this movie once again and I give it two thumbs up!

There will be more I’m sure. There are seven more Bridgerton’s yet to fall in love. I didn’t word that right but I’m sure you get the meaning. Lol My brain hurts.

I watched a little of it. I found the movie and concept a bit too out there and allegorical for me.

Rieann, there are eight books in the series, so they do have material for more seasons. It's still up in the air due to Covid.

I saw Midnight Sky. I think it would've been better if they had just whittled to down to a 30 minute Twilight Zone episode.

Hubby watched Midnight Sky and warned me off. Said it was painfully tedious. The reviews I read were mixed so was waiting for outside confirmation. I am getting the impression it is similar to ATONEMENT with Kiera Knightly. I really enjoyed that but if you are not in that right state of mind, it can be the longest 2 hours of your life. Sanfran, I just read your post to hubby and he says you are exactly right, as long as those 30 minutes include commercial breaks. Lol
