I think it had been on Fox because they ran out of other shows, but it originally existed online at Spectrum (whatever that is).

I watched Away and, although I enjoyed it enough to watch the entire season and I liked that they put some focus on personal drama, it was pretty bad. The science was awful and the behavior of the crew was very unprofessional (not at all what you would expect from a NASA crew).
However, Netflix seems to be getting a bad reputation for prematurely cancelling original series.

Yes, I agree. I like Hillary Swank and Josh Charles, but there were a lot of stupid things going on with the people on the spaceship. I guess we get some sort of closure as they got safely to Mars.
