Another intense episode! Jamie's a badass. At this point, I may have quit reading the books, or this may have been the last one. Don't know what happened with the baby.

there are 8 books, I believe and she is supposedly working on the 9th and perhaps final book.

She is finishing the 9th book, and there will be a 10th (which will be the final). This season is covering book 5 and also pulling a bit forward from book 6. (Information directly from DG, various panels w/the cast, etc.)

And the kitten looks just like hers. So cute! I watched some extras that showed the cast all cuddling and playing with the kitten. He/she was the most popular new character on set when they were filming. Rightfully so!!!

In the books, Jamie also explains that Adso is also the patron saint of milk! :p

I think I've watched the new ep at least a dozen times. Holy. Hell. So good and such a wide variety: from sweet, sexy and silly to devastating, haunted and horrific. This is going down as one of my all-time favorites (as was Prestonpans - and I loved the numerous parallels they created between the two eps).

Denecee - yes, it happens in Book 6, though. They condensed his storyline a bit. I love Ed as an actor - he did a fantastic job and made Bonnet creepy!
