Now I'm sorry I didn't watch it. I don't know why I didn't. I can't explain it.

When it started I was just so over that main character, Alex O'Loughlin. He'd been in quite a few shows that didn't make it, and then I read something unseemly about him, can't even remember what it was now, but that coupled with the fact that all his shows I watched seemed to die, I couldn't be bothered to try Hawaii 5-0. Plus I think back then it was those years where there were all the CSIs, all the NCISs, two Criminal Minds, and dvrs could only tape two channels at once... too many shows and too little time. So I can't quite explain why I didn't watch either, but I know there was a reason at one point!

I liked it too, but lately it just seems to get in its own way.

Aw, Kitt, I'm sad about Party of Five. I was enjoying it. It did seem like they wrapped things up in the last episode, so they either knew they were going to get canceled or it was never meant to go on. It was a feel good family show.

I didn't watch the original one years ago and felt I missed something, so was going to try this one, but in the end never did. I tend to like Freeform shows.

They put a different spin on the new version of Party of 5. Rather than killing off the parents in a car accident, they got deported to Mexico for being illegal. The four youngest children are American citizens, but the oldest is a Dreamer. It was an interesting perspective.

According to Popculture here's a quote about the other renewed shows. "NCIS was just one of 15 scripted shows that were renewed at CBS, including FBI, Mom, and Big Bang Theory prequel Young Sheldon. Also set to return are dramas Blue Bloods, Bull, MacGyver, Magnum P.I., SEAL Team, SWAT and comedy The Neighborhood. The network also renewed four of its freshman programs, with All Rise, Chuck Lorre's Bob Hearts Abishola and The Unicorn joining FBI: Most Wanted. Veteran newsmagazines 60 Minutes and 48 Hours, as well as competition series Undercover Boss, will also return." CBS had a virtual upfront.

Here's a statement from the same article on what shows have been cancelled. However, the network also announced a slew of cancellations, including the Matt LeBlanc comedy Man With a Plan — which returned for its fifth season in early April — as well as NCIS alum Pauley Perrette's Broke, Patricia Heaton-led Carol's Second Act and Edie Falco's cop drama Tommy.}
