After 10 years, Hawaii 5-0 ended the series on April 3rd. It's amazing I never missed an episode. I'll miss it.

It's funny that as much as I liked the original series as a kid, I've never watched this re-make. I can't believe it's been on for 10 years!

Spunky, I never missed an episode either. Last night's episode was really a tearjerker.
They left it wide open for a sequel of sorts. I mean... why else would they bring on a new character (Cole)? I guess a couple of them could make a crossover on Magnum, but this is a pretty strong ensemble cast that could carry a sequel on their own.
That's just my opinion.

This was on for TEN years? If I had been asked to guess how long it aired, I would have guessed 5 years at the very most.
(I only watched the first episode or two but it didn't grab me. I didn't see the original version either.)
Since my hair started turning white, time has sped up exponentially each year. It feels like I was 55 just a few short years ago, but I'm 69 years old now! How did that happen?

My DH is also convinced that there will be some kind of sequel to H 5-O because of the way it ended. If not I hope we see more crossovers to Magnum.

I started watching it because I thought the lead actor was so handsome from when he was on that Vampire show...turns out I liked him better as a vampire!

I'm hoping for a sequel type show for 5-0 as well. If the rest of the cast is on board, and with Cole coming on, you could easily do it! I will miss this show.

I enjoyed 5-O alot....my daughter and I used to watch it together...great memories. I cried at the finale. But yes, it was certainly left so that something else can evolve from it.

I read an article that they wrote/filmed the final episode before they knew it was cancelled. They figured that if Steve didn't come back they would continue without him... or he could have joined the series midway through the season. They mentioned that they added the final season after they knew it was cancelled.
