That little device Athena had in her car.. I have two of those in mine. They break glass and have a blade to cut off a seatbelt.
I love this show.

What they have done is they created such depth for each character, so we know them.. Then there is their dedication to their jobs, and the crazy situations they face.

Did they say what happened to the couple on the ferris wheel? I know they air lifted him off, but was there anything about them after that?

This show has such heart!
The Ferris wheel couple..
He wanted to stay together, she did not. He had the operator stop them at the top as a sign.
The tsunami hit, husband was hurt, she became mama bear to protect him, seemed to soften about signing the divorce papers, but I think it went the other way for him and he told her and she signed.
I think.

It was interesting how the "sign" of the tsunami and injury caused each of them to switch to the opposite stance.
Christopher is so good for Buck! And you know Buck was being eaten alive with guilt even after Christopher was found to be okay, so it was perfect that Eddie showed that he trusted him with Christopher and that Christopher had told his dad how Buck saved him.
And Athena! Love her.
And the whole cast, really.

Seamonkey’s comments made me know it was going to be a key character but I was worried it would be Hen…totally didn’t see that coming until right when they started to evacuate.
Happy we get more episodes but wow. Huge gap in 118!

I had no idea this was coming so I was gutted as well. It's a strong cast on this show but still, the character will be greatly missed.

fun fact....the first tvch-er that I ever met was Moondance. We met at the Coliseum where the helicopter landed. They were having a Walk for the Cure fundraiser there

I wonder.. Probably not the same year, but I did a walk there.. Carrie Ann Inaba from DWTS was up on the stage where they revved up the crowd before we walked. Would have been more recent though still long ago. I know I went with a woman I was driving to treatment, so it was after 2010.
I also got to see Bruce Springsteen there in th mid 80s.
First meeting for me was Zachsmom, when I picked her up to go to Long Beach where we overwhelmingly met a whole lot of tvchers. Sort of mindblowing.
As for 911.. So many good characters! I had been first concerned about Chimney last week, but year, after the one dose went to Chim... I got a very bad vibe and looked online, went back and cried through the rest.
I consider his character to be a major player here. So, I am, yes, gutted.
