WOW....this is going to be excellent. It's like that mystery show they did before, a family that was hiding all kinds of secrets.
Anyway....OMG, the assistant is doing the ex-hubby; Jane sees to have an abuse problem (coke and wine at the same time).
I think the Ex-hubby is in on taking the kid, and the kid thinks she has gone on vacation.
Oh my....what else did I miss?

I enjoyed it very much. I had to watch it a second time because I got distracted, and I noticed she didn't want cocaine from the dealer. She wanted Adderall. He was out of Adderall so he brought her cocaine as a replacement.

I'm with y'all.  I say this all the time, but I love these kind of shows, where every week I suspect someone different.
I, too, plan to re-watch the first episode... just because I liked it (lol), and also to try to get a better handle on all the characters we met.
PS Kyra Sedgewick is always so good. I'm happy to have her on my tv again.

Ok, hmmmm, the maid's boyfriend isn't the gardener, LOL...but he stole the tiles. Still the Ex hubby, Pete, where is his car, and have they found any footage that shows a car hitting a sign.
Is Ali the assistant? The one who is sleeping with Pete.

Theo from Cosby, he is on this show, dont know his name yet. You can tell people associated with Major Crimes are involved with this because I have seen 3 actors that have been on Closer/MC.

Oh, gotcha Pamy, Malcolm-Jamal Warner...he can't have done it, he's the cop, I think he is a good guy. Now maybe that other detective could be involved, I forgot the police are kind of pissed off at Jane.

Adelwale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (who I know as Echo from Lost) plays the lead detective. Malcolm Jamal Warner plays a co-worker (or employee) of Kyra Sedgewick's character.
I definitely agree that it's mighty safe to assume that the detective had nothing to do with the kidnapping, though.
I'm sorry, I haven't got anyone's character's names down, yet.

Oh, thanks Whrlwnd, I was thinking he was the main detective. Finally I went and looked up the cast, I don't remember his character....Matt Walker. Adelwale is John Bird.
They only show two people as detectives....Ali Liebert as Det Nicole Bilson, and Theo Pagones as Det Bezic.
So Pamy, you may be correct.

I've still yet to watch Oz. I almost did a few years ago, but being it was a prison show on cable, I feared there'd be more brutality than I could bear, so I chickened out.
So, this is only the second time I've seen AAA act. I'm quite enjoying him as John Bird. This character is so different from Echo that I keep forgetting he's the same actor.

Whrlwnd, OZ was then and still to this day the most brutal and graphic series I have ever seen. Probably because I know some of those things actually happen and that made it that much more brutal. Even Dexter wasnt as graphic/brutal as OZ BUT...it is one of the best acted/best written series I have ever seen. I have watched it 3 times over the years

this show is so freaking slow!!!! Im having Sinner flashbacks!! if this wasnt just 10 eps I may just stop watching but then I think well, it's gotta get better and then I find myself 4 eps in thinking well, only 6 more LOL I think that's how they get us on these shows

This was billed as only a 10-ep series, so as long as they finish airing the 10 eps, I'll actually prefer watching it on Saturdays.
I, too, have too many conflicts on Sundays.

I was ticked when they moved Shark Tank to Sundays. It was one of the only things to watch on Friday night.
