This year is the year I have seen most of the nominated movies. I saw 6 of the 8. The two I didn't see were Brooklyn and Mad Max.

Who I think will win in top categories...
Actor- Leonardo DiCaprio
Actress- Brie Larson
Supp Actor- Sylvester Stallone
Supp Actress- Kate Winslet (although I think Alicia Vikander may take it)
Picture- Spotlight
Pretty much a given on the acting categories. The only one I waver on is supp actress.

Naja, out of the best picture nominees, I've only seen Room and The Martian. 
I started Spotlight and Brooklyn.. I just need to get back to them.

Oh, I forgot about Jennifer Jason Leigh! But my guesses are more of who I think the Academy will vote for. Another Kate win bores me to tears this year (even though I like her). I'd rather Alicia or Jennifer take it.

Some site called @totalbeauty tweeted a picture of Whoopi Goldberg saying they had no idea that Oprah was tatted and they love it.

So far I've seen too many women whose dresses are so tight their knees are locked together. They're tripping over their fishtail trains and tottering around taking baby steps. Which sadist decided fashion can't be functional? There's no way I'd go to a big night like this and have to spend all of my concentration on not falling down (or trying to breath).

I enjoyed the opening too.
Well, I clearly know nothing (no surprise-lol). I though they would give the award to Stallone as a bit of a sentimental thing. Nice to see Mark Rylance win.

I LOVE him! He was so cute on the red carpet talking about his Millennium Falcon cufflinks.
When he won the Critic's Choice award he said he was going to put the award next to his Millennium Falcon. The kid loves Star Wars.
