I wonder if Clark and Darden really were hot for each other or if author Toobin just wrote that as a flight of fancy? Is there anything to support that scenario? Also the private bedroom convos of Cochran and his wife.

I don't recall anything like that in Toobin's book, Mame (the flirting thing). Nor did it contain anything about the opening of the garment bag by Kardashian and Cowlings. I think these are examples of the writers taking creative liberties to make the show more melodramatic. (Toobin has not had any part in writing the scripts as far as I know.)

Oh. Okay. Thanks Uncle Rickey. :-) I saw an interview with Toobin and Dershowitz on CNN yesterday and Toobin said that some information came out after his book was published, in the freedom of information act, so the script writers included some of that stuff.

Darden wrote his own book and according to one article, one of the chapters talked about the relationship with Marcia... but ended with a "gentlemen dont kiss and tell" so we dont quite know how far it went... but they did travel to the bay area a lot together since they both had ties there...

That final image of Nicole and Ron with their birthdates and common death date was so very sad - I'm glad they cut the music once their remembrance tribute began. I just hope Simpson never gets parole.

Mameblanche, I agree. Everyone was brilliant, but I, personally, thought Courtney Vance was amazing as Johnnie Cochran. In everything I've seen Vance in before, he played a quite, gentlemanly, scholarly person; as Cochran he was rip-roaring, and I didn't know he had it in him. Bravo. I hope he gets the Emmy AND the SAG Award -- he deserves major recognition from his industry for this performance.
