I was just thinking today that the way the Chinese manipulated their currency to destroy American industry by selling too cheap (dumping) & then being able to raise prices when there is no competition mirrors the Aliens in CE.

Speaking of Z Nation, how funny was the Zombie nativity scene?! hahaha First the 3 zombie wise men traveling with a zombie camel, the panoramic view of the barn with the bright star shining above it, all the zombie farm animals, etc...LOL This show is so irreverent. I love it. It goes where no other zombie show dares to go.

Quick Question.... Is this thread for in general sci-fi shows, or for SYFY channel shows formerly know as Sci-Fi channel?

And the cow at the end being added to the zombie cheese wheel. Zombie sheep. Zombie camels. Zombie manger animals. Important question: are zombie animals a danger to humans, or do they only eat their own species? And, can starving humans eat zombie animals for sustenance? (Inquiring minds want to know.)

If you are a human that was a life long vegetarian do you eat humans? The zombie bear ate people. not sure if the zombie camel could spit and infect that would give them a lot of power.

Did you guys notice tonight's episode of Z Nation was anamorphic widescreen? Does anybody know why? I went back and checked the past few episodes and they aren't anamorphic widescreen.

I've missed Citizen Z the last few weeks. Did something happened to him?

I noticed the top and bottom borders at the beginning, I can't remember if they continued for us but if they did for you I bet they did for us too. I thought it was a mistake, sometimes when we get things on demand they don't know we have a widescreen tv so present a widescreen on a widescreen, and everyone is distorted. I didn't think to see whether the characters looked normal or short. We miss Citizen Z too. As far as I remember he's fine, he fought off those zombies.

Kitt, I figured out why it was in anamorphic widescreen this week. This week's show had an Old West theme, and all those old spaghetti westerns were always shot in anamorphic widescreen.

Did anyone else think of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid in that final scene with the two guys opening the door to a barage of zombies?

Z Nation was so funny this week. Seeing George R. R. Martin as a zombie was the best! And it really was him....LOL

It was really him? I love it! LOL I thought it kind of looked like him but figured it couldn't have been. I just assumed this show was too lowbrow for a writer of his popularity and stature. The fact that it was really him cracks me up.

SFJ, I don't really think Z Nation is lowbrow at all. It's a comedy. A pretty intelligent comedy at that. eta: an example of a lowbrow comedy (that I love) is "Gigi Does It".

OH, I just saw an article that said Star Trek is only going to be available on CBS All Access, that seems odd to me, since I would rather watch it on a big TV instead of a little computer screen.
