I can't wait to MISS it! My DH Seth, however, will be watching it with rapt attention. I'll be in another part of the house extracting the lint from my belly button.  I hope you like it, though!

The movie was unintentionally hilarious with the stunt-casting as we all know.
But I saw the original on Broadway and it was fabulous. GREAT FUN!
So tonight's performance should be terrific - it's getting great buzz.

I though it was good. I probably would have liked it even more but my PVR didn't record it so we missed the first 25 minutes plus we then had to watch all the commercials (something I almost never do). I found the commercial breaks very long and distracting and they hurt the rhythm and flow of the show.

we had recorded it, too and ff thru the commercials and there was plenty of them. Loved it!

I just couldn't get into it. I turned it off about half through. If I'm not familiar with the songs already, I generally don't like stage musicals.

I had a very good time watching The Wiz. I've loved the music for a long time and it was nice to see Stephanie Mills, the original Dorothy on Broadway playing Aunt Em.

Wow, good thing I recognized Queen Latifah's voice or I wouldn't have even recognized her...the makeup was fabulous.
