I always thought the woman who played Bernadette was the voice of the mother as well, they sound close alike.

Personally I have grown to dislike the character of Bernadette. She used to be cute and sweet but now her comments are snarky and mean.

Maybe they will have Howard come out of the closet. I heard somewhere that the producers said the show is going in a new direction. So, who knows.

I agree about Bernadette... I think the producers/writers have gone overboard with making her a bully type of character. Just because she's petite and with a sweet voice they really have to make her personality opposite of her appearance.
I also don't like the way she gets her digs in with Howard... she emasculates him... I especially don't like it when she does it in front of his friends.

I always felt that they were deliberately making Bernadette kind of a whiney nag like his mom. Y'know the old... he married his mother, running gag.

I'm really feeling ripped off with the lack of new shows.
There was a new show Dec 11.
Then the next new show was a month later on January 8.
The next new show isn't until January 29.
This is ridiculous.

I thought last nights episode was a hoot! Beauty Queen Bernadette was fun and I really enjoyed Amelia and Cooper on the prairie. The bath scenes were a good chuckle.
