Dame Maggie can deliver a one-liner like no one else. Can't wait for this season (I've noticed quite a bit of crossover in the casts between Downton Abbey, Game of Thrones and The Tudors.)

Does anyone know if season 2 and beyond are all UK editions? I have ordered 1 but so far every place I have looked has all the others UK edition. Thanks

The ones on Amazon are the NA format not PAL even though it says UK edition. I think it is just referring to what aired on BBC or Masterpiece, they are the ones I have.

It looks like this past Sunday they aired the first episode of S4 in the UK. I don't know if any of you go to other sites, but I thought I would put a warning here to be wary of spoilers in cyberspace.
There is a site I go to which had the first episode up on-line, but it looks like the powers that be took it down already. Drat!

I'm a bit late to the Downton Abbey series.
A friend of mine let me borrow the first 3 seasons of Downton Abbey and I'm just about caught up. I'm enjoying the whole era and storylines.
I just scrolled up and saw that Season 4 doesn't start here in the states until January 2014...ugh!

I HATE having to wait until January too!
I was so excited this morning when I found the first episode, but then it was deleted. Drat! Maybe I can hover at that site each Sunday and try to catch the episodes before they are pulled down. I need help.

PBS in my area started season 1 tonight.
Season 1 sets up a lot of the background of the people.
It's under "Masterpiece Classic".
