Watching last night's Beauty and the Beast and there was an advert for "The Tomorrow People," starting in the fall, on CW. I was too young for the original version and never bothered to catch reruns (or the remake), but thought it might be of some interest here. (Assuming the new show is based on the book, of course.)

Regarding Orphan Black... I do too! Started watching it On Demand a few weeks ago, and now I'm hooked. There's a couple of things I'm not real clear on, but I definitely like it.

Warehouse 13 is a goner. I thought the show was getting too inward with Artie and the astrolabe and all that, but still a good show. Syfy always does this.

I will miss Warehouse 13, I still miss Eureka. I love shoes like this. Ones that are funny but keep me tuned in for the current story.

I didn't think anyone else was watching Orphan Black because it was buried in this Sci-Fi folder. Glad to hear that others love it too. We can't wait for it to come on. Sarah is the only one who can have a child so far. Interesting ... It has been renewed for next year. Only two more shows 'til the season finale. I will definitely miss it during the hiatus.

I think Sarah might be the "original". I have two weeks to catch up on.

I hope the show Orphan Black is on in reruns over the summer so I can watch. Everyone is making it sound so good.

We do, too, Jasper. I just didn't know how caught up people were so I didn't want to spoil it with my ideas.

I wonder if the budget got smaller for Warehouse 13--it was so good the first few seasons then started to lose it a bit. I've tried with Orphan Black but am just not feeling that show. I think it's boring. ETA one of my fav W13 episodes had Claudia singing Where is My Mind. Genius girl. Ignore crappy syncing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7RneHuEyk9I

OMG - don't think Orphan black could be better - this show last night killed me, from wondering if Kira has a special ability through having my heart wrenched for Helena What a roller coaster - at least there is a break with Allison and her relationship with Felix. Boring is not something I would think with this show - Now with Continuaum, I tried to watch it, but it was just so unappealing to me, it did not spend enough time in explanation at the beginning, and I wanted to like Defiance, but I tried watching the first episode several times and it did not hold my interest, but Orphan Black has me on the edge of my seat. Everything stops, can do anything but watch and then I have to watch it a few more times to catch everything and run it at least once with closed captions.

I have been wondering if Helena's blonde hair could have something to do with malnutrition and abuse of her childhood.

I really enjoyed In The Flesh. Interesting social tale. My husband, on the other hand, thought it was boring and there was no plot. I'll be watching tonight and tomorrow at least!

I like "In the Flesh", too...but I gotta admit, it feels more like watching "The Diary of Anne Frank" than a typical zombie story! It's less about zombie attacks than it is about zombies (AKA the partially dead) facing hateful prejudice and discrimination and suspicion after they are treated and return home.

It is a bit like Anne Frank! It does seem that little will have happened overall but it's an interesting... study, particularly with it being ok for the partially dead soldier.

Anyone else missed the first four episodes of season two of Continuum? I guess Canadians have finished the season, but in the US it started a few weeks ago. If anyone else needs to catch up, S2 episodes 1 to 4 repeat tomorrow and then episode 5 is on Friday at 10pm.

Just finished Primeval: New World. They really left it bad. They must have truly expected a 2nd season...but I admit, while the show had potential, they didn't really execute as well as they could have. BUT...it did get better as the season progressed...a second season could have only improved the product, IMO

I thought the same, it got better but too late. Oh well. Being Human UK, since my last post mentioned the start, is finishing this Saturday. I think it went downhill pretty fast with the new characters, I'm ready for it to go now.

LOL Kitt, another one we (Canada) beat you on. We had the final Being Human episode a few weeks back. I won't spoil but will say that it was a very well done finish to the series. Too bad it took until the last couple episodes for the chemistry between the characters to really gel but (IMO) they do get it right by the end.

JJ Abrams ("Fringe") is doing another sci-fi series for FOX....it's called "Almost Human"... ABOUT THE SHOW From Emmy Award-winning executive producer J.J. Abrams ("Fringe," "Lost," "Revolution," "Person of Interest," the "Star Trek" and "Mission: Impossible" franchises) and creator/executive producer J.H. Wyman ("Fringe," "The Mexican"), comes ALMOST HUMAN. Starring Karl Urban ( the "Star Trek" and "The Lord of the Rings" franchises") and Golden Globe Award nominee Michael Ealy ("Sleeper Cell," "Common Law"), the new series is an action-packed police procedural set 35 years in the future, when police officers are partnered with highly evolved human-like androids. <snip> http://www.fox.com/almost-human/ ------------ I believe it debuts Nov 4, 2013 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2654580/episodes?season=1&ref_=tt_eps_sn_1
