He is adorable. Did you notice he said that he comes out when he sees the bus. It was a tour bus! One of those "stars homes" tours. Wow. So kind of him to greet fans on a regular basis. He must live in the Hollywood area. So, I finished Season 4 and now need to watch Season 5. AMC is running a marathon that sunday that they are showing the new episode. This is very disappointing to me. I'm 8 hours behind! On Demand has pulled all of their episodes -- also very disappointing! I may have to just cough up 14 bucks and watch them on Amazon. I don't feel like waiting for the marathon -- I wanted to be ready for the new episode that sunday night.

What great humility he shows, to still appreciate his fans and to let them know that he appreciates them.

Some of you may have already heard it, but for those who missed it, here is the link to the Fresh Air interview he gave (in 2011) to Terry Gross on NPR. My favorite section of the interview is when he describes moving (totally alone, from Idaho) to L.A. for the first time (as a teenager!) and having 100% encouragement from his parents AND how they reacted when they learned he had moved into an apartment that was two blocks away from the infamous Bank of America robbery of 1997 (in North Hollywood), considered one of the most violent gun battles between cops and robbers ever! It's really quite an amazing story (his move to L.A., I mean.) http://www.wbur.org/npr/156494601/aaron-paul-playing-a-meth-dealer-on-breaking-bad

You're welcome, Holly. And, yes, I think we definitely are right up there in the big fan category. Can't wait for the August 11 premiere!

I really hope we see him again on another series. He's a very interesting actor and an adorable person as well.

Does anyone know if AMC will do a marathon of the first 8 episodes of this final season before the last 8 begin on 8/11? TIA

According to my onscreen guide: Sun Aug 11 9.30am Breaking Bad "Live Free of Die" 10.32 Madrigal 11.36 Hazard Pay 12.40 Fifty One 1.44 Dead Freight 2.48 Buyout 3.52 Say My Name 4.56 Gliding Over All 6pm Premiere! ("Blood Money") So yep, first half of Season 5 is all there! (I know I could have just said yes, but I started typing and then I had to finish...!)

It looks like they're also marathoning the 2010 episodes on Friday 8/2, and the 2011 episodes on 8/9.

Yep, the day of the premier, which, I'm sorry, but is not far enough in advance! I can't devote an entire day in getting caught up so I've been buying the eps from Amazon. Did anyone see Bryan Cranston on Letterman the other night? He showed video of him walking around the comic con floor incognito wearing a walter white mask. He is such a funny guy. This role is such a departure for him.

Thanks for posting the link, Brenda - very charming interview - I only wish it had been longer. His imitation of the fans asking for the autograph was hilarious (and the punchline was even funnier)!

I'm excited! I have 4 episodes to get caught up on this afternoon. Will be painful to watch now with commercials after watching 4 commercial free seasons on Netflix and season 5 ep 1-4 off Amazon. Can't wait!

I haven't watched them yet but am about to... the season five (first half) "Inside Breaking Bad"s are posted on youtube by various users. This is the first one, the user has the others too. (I haven't got time to watch all the episodes so this might be a good catch up): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pylHc2eSmw

And don't forget Talking Bad, with the lovely Chris Hardwick, is on after the show (11pm ET, not directly after)!

Thanks. I'll check those out later. The first 1/2 of season 5 is just sooo good. The whole "waiting for the cancer to return" scene was so powerful and then the boy on the bike. Phew! Shocking.

That closing scene between Walter and Hank was beyond intense. When Hank punched Walter I flinched so violently that I almost fell off the couch!

Ok help me here. Why was Walt's former home fenced off, why was he so dirty and why was the neighbor so shocked to see him in the beginning ? I was going to watch the previous season episodes but could not justify the time.

No one knows, Marameko....that scene was a flash forward. ETA - I think there has almost always been a scene at the first of a season that is touched upon at the beginning of that season's episodes that isn't explained until the end of the season. The one that comes to mind the most is the teddy bear in Walt's pool.....that was never explained until we saw the plane crash that occurred because of Walt at the end of the season.
