Thanks for starting the thread. I like it as well maybe because I am a history buff, but it is nice to have a good drama that isn't a soap...

I'm watching because I've always been a Keri Russell fan since her "Felicity" days. It's turning out to be a really interesting show and the 80's clothing are rad and gnarly!!

Big hair & shoulder pads didn't happen until late 80's/early 90's. I know. I was there. I remember the day Reagan was shot. I went home for lunch and heard about it on my way back to work. We didn't realize how serious it was at the time. He almost died.

Wow - I think this is one of the best shows on tv today. Great cast and great writing - can't ask for more. My only complaint the first week is that it's so intense at times that I didn't know if I could handle it. I've seen Matthew Rhys before but in this role, he just shines. What a great actor!

I just knew they were going to kill Robert's wife the whole time. It was so sad when they showed her dead and the baby in Russia. How sad that her husband thought he was helping her, but really he just set up her death.

I like this series and enjoy learning more and more about Phillip and Elizabeth. When Elizabeth spoke to Phillip towards the end of this last episode, I felt how she must have felt being 22 years old, married to someone she didn't develop a relationship with and focusing on her KGB duties. Did this really happen in our history? Is it happening now? Hmmmm . . . .food for thought.

On the bright side, they didn't kill the baby. But I knew she was a gonner also. Creepy new handler (old ladies are suppose to be nice & sweet, not cutthroat & evil).

Great show last night. I wonder how close to the truth it is. Where we really that close to "war" when Reagan was shot.

Eg, you may remember this story and find it interesting: The suspects in a Russian spy ring lived all-American lives By Jerry Markon and Philip Rucker Washington Post Staff Writers Wednesday, June 30, 2010 Richard and Cynthia Murphy raised two children in a colonial house with maroon shutters on a winding street in suburban New Jersey. Cynthia, a vice president at a financial services firm, tended hydrangeas out front. Katie, 11, and Lisa, 7, rode pink bicycles around a nearby cul-de-sac. the spies next door

Agree NY, they were running a marathon yesterday of the show. All the acting is really good and it isnt predictable which could be a risk in a show like this.

I was trying to avoid this one because geez I have too many shows I watch already. Unfortunately I did start to watch and I must say I am totally enjoying it, Keri and Michael are so interesting to watch, their facial expressions or sometimes the lack of expression is so telling. I like them so am sometimes surprised when they do something despicable like kill someone.
