I liked 666, too. But that's the way it goes, I guess. A lot of shows I like get cancelled before their time, i.e. Firefly, Journeyman, etc. Arrow just introduced Huntress to the show, which should amp up the fun and mayhem. Can't wait to see how that develops.

Is anyone in Canada watching "Primeval: New World?" Is it any good?

Good news, Whoami! Syfy, Hulu Acquire ‘Primeval: New World' Syfy and Hulu have acquired Primeval: New World. Syfy has picked up the US basic cable rights to the Primeval spinoff series for a 2013 premiere. It joins a growing slate of acquired series on the sci-fi cable network, including Lost Girl, Merlin and the upcoming Sinbad. The original Primeval series aired on BBC America where it was a top draw. Syfy sibling Hulu has acquired the SVOD and AVOD U.S. rights to Primeval: New World for its Hulu and Hulu Plus services. The deals were made by Entertainment One, which distributes the series produced by Omnifilm Entertainment. The 13-episode Primeval: New World stars Niall Matter (Eureka), Sara Canning (The Vampire Diaries) and Danny Rahim (Young James Herriot) as a team of animal experts and scientists investigating paranormal events, while battling both prehistoric and futuristic creatures. Based on the original series from Impossible Pictures, Primeval: New World's creative team is led by Executive Producers Martin Wood (Sanctuary) and Gillian Horvath (Sanctuary). The spin-off was created by Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens (Star Trek: Enterprise). Heading into MIPCOM, eOne announced a number of other international sales for Primeval: New World, including NRJ12 (free digital rights) in France. http://www.deadline.com/2012/10/syfy-hulu-acquire-primeval-new-world/

Turned onto Syfy channel and there's a 20th anniversary special on, I think it's all Syfy shows but right now they're talking about Stargate. It's on from 6pm (20 mins ago) to 8pm, and repeated 8pm to 10pm, (which for some of course might be 9-11 and 11-1am) and probably repeats again at some time. Seems like it's going to be worth watching!

It's so good, you have to watch it, looks like it repeats late night/early morning quite often this week. Lots of old stars reminiscing! I'm going to find another showing to tape the bit I missed. Teal'c still has that lovely face! And the things you miss when you fast forward over adverts, they've mentioned lots of premieres I might have missed: Merlin, the final season, premieres Friday January 4 at 10pm Continuum premieres Monday January 14th at 8pm (When a group of fantatical terrorists escape their planned execution in 2077 by traveling back in time to 2012, they inadvertently take City Protective Services officer Kiera Cameron with them. Trapped in a more "primitive" past, Kiera infiltrates the local police department to try to track down the terrorists before they change the course of history.) Being Human (US) premieres Monday January 14 at 9pm Lost Girl is back Monday January 14 at 10pm Face Off premieres (again!) Tuesday January 15 at 9pm

They aren't giving us enough time between seasons to miss Face Off.

I know, I thought the same. It really only needs to be once a year, or if it's twice they should do New Year and July/August, not Sept/Oct. I Jamie Bamber.

Another show I'm looking forward to on SyFy is a show called "Defiance". It'll be here in April 2013, should the world not end on 12/21. Julie Benz appears to be a main characacter...

Saw this on another site. Sad Former “Ghost Hunters” Star Posts Suicide Note on Facebook, Goes Missing •December 10, 2012 3:13 am •Greg Newkirk •1 Comment UPDATE: According to Brian Harnois’ ex wife, he has been found unharmed and his currently on his way to receive help from mental health professionals. 36 year old Brian Harnois, former star of the successful SyFy channel reality show Ghost Hunters and the cancelled Ghost Hunters International made an alarming announcement just hours ago on Facebook, posting what appears to be a suicide note including pleas for forgiveness from his two daughters and ex wife. Shortly after the post went live, Harnois went missing. The note reads as follows: I wanted to write this note to say goodbye to a certain few that need to know what happened to me. I have up my life again to the point of no return this time. I am homeless, jobless, and pennyless. I have 2 wonderful daughters who deserve a lot better than what I can give them, and deserve better in life than what I would ever be able to give them. I love them both very much and this goes out ot them the most. I am sorry daddy is such an extreme I could never get my crap together and you both deserve better then this. I love you both very much and will always be there to see your acomplishments in life. Because I know you will both do amazing things. You both will probably never know the amount of love I have for you two and that is my fault. I have been an extreme mess for almost all of my 36 years on this earth and enough is enough. I have lied, stolen, and done some other really bad things, but the one thing I can say I did right was bringing you two into the world. I love you both babies and will miss you SO MUCH!!! I have not seen or talked to you both in over a week and it has killed me more and more every day. I am in a deep depression and know I will not come out of it. As for you Michelle, I know now more than ever that I was in the wrong for 90 percent of the 7 years you have known me. I don’t know if you will ever read this, but if someone could pass this on to her it would be great. I can’t call you because I am to afraid of what might be said as I know I can never have you back. You were my one true love. I realize that now more then ever. You were my soul mate and someone that I could have lived with forever. ANd to know I messed that up is to much for me to bare anymore. You were my world, and I shit all over you. I know it was wierd the way we met but I think it was fate that we did. I am SO SORRY that I messed things up like I did. Please forgive me one day. I wanted to give so much to you but in the end I couldn’t even scrape two pennies together for you and that was the last straw. I love you Michelle, and I always will. Goodbye my love and goodbye my 2 darling babies. I will miss all 3 of you!!

To record Continuum (starts next Monday on SyFy) I've had to set the season pass to tape repeats as well as just new episodes, as although the season is new to us, I guess as it's from 2012 the recorder doesn't know that. Might just be my old machine, but posting just in case it's others too. The show repeats loads of times so it'll be easy to catch a rerun.

Continuum is taping right now. For some reason our cable channels come East Coast time so it starts at 5pm! Very convenient as Monday at 8 is often busy. Hope it's good!

Not really getting into Continuum. My mind wanders while watching it. Being Human is excellent this year. Wish more people watched it so we could talk about how awesome it is.
