Just watched it last night. I was a little confused as to why Gold would unleash magic if his beloved remembered him and their love for each other. I hope it gets renewed!

We thought Gold was trying to bring his son back to him...he planned this from the very beginning...that if he got the Queen to take them away from magic realm, he had a backdoor to get his powers back - and look for his son in the real world (IMHO). And perhaps they shot two different endings. One for if the series was going to be over (we all get our happy ending) and this one, so we have a new story line for next season.

I read in TV Guide that they're coming up with a part in "Once Upon a Time" for Jorge Garcia since Alcatraz was canceled.

Thinking he'd make a great kindly, cuddly, cowardly lion, or the saucy Tweedledee/Tweedledum twins.

TV Guide said they could see him as Stromboli (the circus ringmaster from Pinocchio).

Mameblanche, that video was adorable! I had to watch it twice to get all the captions at the bottom. It moved so quickly! Very, very cute. I shared it on my Facebook page. Good find!

I'd like to see him as TWINS Tweedledee and Tweedledum so he'd have a double role, and we'd get twice as much of him.

Finally, it's coming back. Great cover article in this week's TV Guide Magazine. Love that Goodwin & Dallas (Snow & Charming) were so popular when they visited Disneyland this summer. Couldn't find the same article online, but here is a different one with sneak peaks. http://www.tvguide.com/News/Once-Upon-Time-Season2-Videos-1053301.aspx

Yeah, do those soul suckers have any other basis in fairy tales other than HP? I wondered. Glad to see this show back. I watched the 1 hour recap too and enjoyed that.

Um, wasn't Mulan a Disney creation? Is this season just going to be one long Disney commercial? Sorry but I was a bit disappointed with tonight's season opener.

No, Mulan is from a Chinese "fairy tale." http://ancientstandard.com/2011/06/17/the-real-story-of-mulan/

I enjoyed the recap and the new episode. It doesn't bother me at all about who are what is the characters on the show, I watch for the fantasy and escape from regular tv shows. Can't wait till next weeks show!

Ditto Miz! The loved when the recap voiceover said that Storybrooke is like an island where nobody arrives and nobody leaves. Another unsubtle shoutout to LOST. (I missed the 1st ten minutes or so, but figure the narrator was the mirror guy.) Brilliant concept, overlapping Mulan & Sleeping Beauty's stories. Who'd a thunk it? Not I. And I am soooo loving the feisty, sensible Belle, I HOPE she becomes besties with the Sherrif they will be such a indomitable duo. And of course, it's great that they have this small pocket of fairyland (or whatever it's called) so they all have somewhere to return to when this series ends. (Which I hope won't be for a VERY, VERY loooong time.)

I'm wondering if this entire season is going to be how to get Emma & Snow back to Storybrooke? Interesting how the Queen had no magic until Emma touched her arm.

I love this show. Watching last night's episode made me remember why. I really hope it lasts a few seasons.

I really like it too. Feels original to me, something new and different. I saw "Snow" on Kimmel or one of those night interview shows. She's a huge, huge Disney fan, like I am, and that just give me a little thrill too.
