Absolutely positively LOVED that Stephen Hawking was on this show! What a brilliant tie-in, and so cool to see one of the REAL great brains of our generation alongside a TV brain!

It was a hoot when Hawking pointed out an error in Sheldon's math. I thought the poor boy was going to implode.

I finally watched the last two episodes. Loved Sheldon lying and then say he was lying. And loved him with Hawking!

I hadn't seen any previews, so assumed all the talk about Hawking was just going to remain that, just talk. And when he showed up on screen, I was so happy! That was wild.
I never realized until the last ep that Wolowitz was such a fan of lava lamps...LOL I just got a new one for Christmas from my niece and nephew

Amy told him exactly what she was doing. This is all fair!
I love how as she was standing there in her Star Trek uniform you could see the WIN in her face.
My guess is the outtakes from filming the scene are hilarious. It had the feel of people barely containing laughter as they said the lines.

Thanks for the heads up about the outtakes. I watched a few and the best part is seeing Jim Parsons laugh. He never laughs as Sheldon but when he breaks he is adorable.

Very sweet episode. Did anyone read the vanity card at the end? Even Chuck Lorre admitted he was teary-eyed at the final scene...four times!

Okay geeks, did anyone load Google Earth and try to find the apartment? Just to see if someone thought ahead and did something just for us geeks? The address is 2311 North Los Robles Ave, Pasadena, CA (if you want to check for yourselves). We then spent the rest of the evening checking out other addresses.
BTW, Mike is a real astronaut (@Astro_Mike on Twitter). The Russian was an actor.
