OG is our sole winner, it is the lab work. I ended up back in the hospital last week because my pacemaker/defibrillator fired on me Tuesday night and Rae had to call 9-1-1(scariest thing ever!)
It turns out that my potassium was super low, 2.4, and with my heart condition it needs to be a 4, at least.
There are no home testers for potassium (which is unbelievable in 2025), so my cardologist set up standing labwork orders for me on Mondays and Thursdays. Yesterday's was 4.2!!!!

The Portland Columbus Day Storm was the powerful 1962 Typhoon Freda, which struck the Pacific Northwest as a Category 3 hurricane-strength extratropical cyclone, causing massive destruction across Oregon, including Portland, where it produced winds over 100 mph and gusts of 116 mph on the Morrison Street Bridge. The storm resulted in dozens of deaths, widespread power and telephone outages, and significant damage, making it the most destructive windstorm in the region's recorded history.
