I may or may not be back to play tonight's trivia. I may or may not have mentioned that we finished #4 in cruise-long team trivia this past month. (instead of tied for 4 or 5 the session before) out of about 60 teams, so we did pretty well. We were playing against frequent trans-oceanic cruisers who had done years of Royal Caribbean trivia, and the answers repeat.

The past two weeks, we also played both morning and evening trivia with a different pair of trivia players, a 50-ish Australian couple, both extremely bright. I told them early on that I can sometimes pull answers out of strange body parts, and the answers are right, and so then I pulled Superman's birth name out, and it was right. And later, it was some European FIFA world championship or other, and when it became obvious nobody knew it, I said Portugal. and then the host gave another clue, but nobody knew that one either, so I confidently said Portugal, having not the foggiest idea, and the other team members knew I had no idea, so they wrote down something else, and of course the answer turned out to be Portugal.

Anyway, I represented us well on this cruise, and we had a ton of fun especially with the young Aussies, and I guess they are now friends for life.
