Guesses for new set: 11. Ebenezer Scrooge 12. Italy 13. Pinball - I was also a bit of a pinball wizard in the late '60's, as were all of my female college roommates. OMG, the hours we put in playing pinball and drinking beer. We lived about four blocks from a great campus bar. Linda and I were the biggest and the strongest, and between us, we carried a small woman who was in metal walking braces on our backs, just so she could come drink beer and play pinballs with us. And then I married a young fellow who worked at that bar, and he later became a pinball repairman, and we had both a pinball machine and a bowling machine in our basement in the early '70's. All of this seems pretty comical a half century later. 14. Solitude - Mamie, are you tweaking me again? Because this ties in absolutely with the question above, as during that same pinball era, I was in college and taking Spanish literature classes for fun to round out my schedule, and I had to read Gabriel Garcia Llorca's Cien Anos de Soledad in SPANISH! And it made absolutely no sense, because all of the men were named Aureliano Buendia, and they all had vestigial monkey tails. I somehow got an A in that class, but WTH was that novel about? 15. Burt Reynolds 16.Wilbur 17. deuce 18. gamma 19. enchilada, we are in far south, almost Mexico for the winter now. 20. roof . . .
