Argentina - we rode in a bus from Cuzco to Lake Titicaca along the spine of the Andes in 2017.  We were at really high altitude, and most of us were taking altitude sickness medications, even though our native guide told us not to.  The people who didn't take them had to go get oxygen in the hotel (and then I read a brochure on the bus that the natives have short arms and legs and larger chests and have 25% more lung capacity than other peoples on Earth, which explained his nonchalance about our sufferings and also explained how they built Machu Picchu).     68. I only found out about this the other day when I was participating in a Facebook discussion about axolotls, and I was looking up the Mad Magazine connection and saw a photo of an icky, ugly gray axolotl, when the only axolotls I have seen are cute pink ones.
