Bzbee and OG are the winners. Lexie doesn't eat her food right away, but the issue is, she is also very protective of it, and has been known to go off on Cappy if he even looks in the direction of her food. So when I fed them in the morning (7-8), she didn't eat until like noon. In all that time, Cappy won't go and get water, because it's next to her food bowl.
So I started feeding them once a day, at 5 pm (doubling the amount)While it works fine for Cappy, the amount of food seems to be too much for Lexie to eat all at once. So back to Cappy not being able to roam the house freely without me as an escort.
Last night I tried something different, instead of 1 3/4 cups for Lexie, I gave her 1 1/2 cups, and that seemed to work, she ate it all at once.
I'll try that again tonight, knowing her, it was just a fluke.

Yes I walked about 25,000 steps . No when I arrived home walked up 11 x2 ( as 2 sets between floors) to not have melted ice cream. It came back about 10 minutes later.
