Ok, the day is over and the game has a new word and I have a bad memory. So, what was the word?

If I wasn’t in such doubt I would not have gotten today’s word so fast. Hehehe.

Whoops, I may have interrupted the WORDLE game thread by making a post (discussion). I just saw this thread and so I'll post here for the record. Grooch you asked about trying to play a WORDLE game where we all use the same word. I offered that I tend to start with QUIET as that has 3 vowels to start me out. Anyway, I'm in for that type of game.

Who woulda thunk?
quote:Chicago Tribune@chicagotribune When a Lincolnwood woman failed to text her Wordle score, her daughters worried something was amiss. They were right.
Wordle helped save suburban grandmother being held by armed home invader, cops say. Family was concerned woman didn’t text her daily score.

oh wow Grouch!!That reminds me of a story of a lady who always went to a diner daily. When she had not shown up for 2 days and they knew where she lived , they went over. She was found alive ;but lying on the floor helpless. My new start word is radio. Got on wheeldle its knockoff 11 times before I guessed all wrong.

You might need an NYT account but WordleBot will do a pretty detailed analysis of your daily Wordle game and score it for skill and luck: https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2022/upshot/wordle-bot.html I don't always agree with it but I find it very interesting.
