Kitt, I dont think we saw where Rachel probably knew everything Stephen was doing all day long in throwing suspicion her way. Her mistake was in the turret last night. It would have been a different round table

Yes, with a small crowd now it’s unlikely she wasn’t aware. I can’t see how Rachel gets past the next banishment, even if she wins the toss up tonight. But Stephen could still have a chance if Jack and Faraaz don’t decide they can only trust each other… which more likely might be how it plays out.

Yep, and it starts late and is a little longer, 8.30-9.45pm GMT. My prediction is whichever of Rachel or James is out tonight, the other will go next. That gets us down to four, at which point I presume they're going to do the fire. First fire everyone will probably say banish again, and Jade will go. Down to Jack, Faraaz and Stephen, and I fear they will banish again and that will be the end of Stephen.

I was so shocked it went the way they did, this season must have been the most loyal (to each other) traitors we've seen. It seems almost impossible Rachel got to the end. When James went, and as a result somehow Faraaz thought Rachel was therefore innocent I just could not believe it!! (I loved his confessional after the banishment where he said Stephen was the traitor and Rachel was faithful, then kind of shook his head and realised Rachel was too, and called himself an idiot!!) The only thing that bugged me was that at the end, to the camera, Rachel said a couple of times that Stephen would only mess it up if he wants the money, which wasn't really fair, he'd seen Rachel manipulate everyone else so it makes sense he would be nervous of her loyalty. I am absolutely amazed he trusted her on the Faraaz vote, and then it must have been a really difficult decision for him emotionally on the Jack vote. Great series.

I think she meant that he would mess it up for her if he chose the money over their deal, which was a valid concern. I was amazed that they both stuck to the deal even though they weren't 100% sure of the other person keeping to the deal. If that isn't a roadmap to winning the traitors, stay 100% loyal and quietly drop hints to keep the other person safe. They played brilliantly together. The two people I felt sorry for in the game were Jade and Ron, they were constantly trying to beat off suspicions and they had never done anything to really merit the level of doubt cast upon them.

They also showed you don't need to recruit, if you can stay loyal to each other, although of course that would be different if a traitor was one of a pair, and wanted their partner in. Yeah, Jade and particularly Ross had a real raw deal. Often people with personalities like Jade's get kicked out for perceived guilt, which is really just them being a bit reserved. And Ross was doomed the second Netty blurted out that she recognised him!

Talk about a crazy season! I generally don't cotton to people like Rachel. But if anyone deserved the win... it was her. I felt like she dragged Stephen along, and at tge end, it was almost too big a risk keeping him. Regardless it was a brilliant game. The only thing that was frustrating for me is that my recording cut off when they arrived at the fireplace! So I had to hunt up the ending on YouTube. 😀 And Claudia is my favourite Traitors' host, of all the various one's I've seen.

I'm a bit overdosed on Claudia these days, she is EVERYWHERE. And it's probably not on her, more a production decision, but her "faithfuls, what are you doing?" bit started annoying me, as it seemed so insincere. I didn't feel like Rachel dragged Stephen along at all. Rachel had an amazing talent for taking the heat off herself when she was under the spotlight, but she would never have survived until the end unless Stephen supported her. He took heat off her and threw out other names when they were sitting around discussing the game, and at times his calculated vote for someone else saved her (like at the random round, his vote for Faraaz, his vote for Jack). Without Stephen, Rachel was gone at least on the James-Rachel tie vote, if not sooner. But without Rachel, Stephen still had multiple players - Jade, Jack, Faraaz most of the time - who trusted him and would have not banished him. He could have won without her, she could not have won without him.

Interesting points Kitt, I can see where you are coming from with regards to Stephen. Frankly I thought Rachel was toast when the author-lady came after her at the round table and was shocked how it backfired. I understand Claudia is HUGE in the UK. But here in Canada, I've never heard of her until the Traitors. As for Alan Cumming (whom I generally admire) he seems to make the U.S. Version all about himself as the focus, I enjoy his costume changes, but his personality on the show is very irritating to me. And while Karine Vanasse does double-duty hosting both the English and French versions of the show here, I feel she's the opposite of Alan and kind of fades into the background, entirely forgetable at least on the English one. I have not seen the French Canadian version. I absolutely love how invested and dedicated Claudia is on the show. She seems to really care while not making it all about her, or phoning in her performance. That's my opinion. YMMV. (One other weird point... it took me at least a couple of eps before I realized the UK host wasn't Davina McCall. In my mind they looked somewhat alike.)

Love Davina! In their earlier days they looked even more similar. Love Alan Cumming too. Not such a fan of Karine, her persona is a bit cold. I read the following, I don’t remember it, but I think it’s true: During downtime on the show (i.e. when not being filmed) on UK season one, the contestants were doing impersonations of various celebrities. Someone did an impression of Claudia, and copied her saying “hello Traitors.” The other contestants were rather curious as to why that person knew how Claudia said hello to the traitors, lol. Apparently production had to scramble to find a way to weave what happened into the show without having footage of it, as that traitor was banished at the next round table.

I had no idea that France now has a Traitors show. That would explain why sometimes on the link Maris provided, I would sometimes find French closed captioning. Anybody/everybody feel free to search for and post links to a French Traitors. I had a feeling Stephen would remain true to Rachel, and she to him. The shock to me was the final scenes after the reveal of the winners, and the celebration, and to see that Claudia is a petite person, and also how close she becomes to the players. You can actually see that she loves the players and the game.
