I didn’t think I’d like her at all but I thought Tyra was doing well hosting.
I hope they don’t replace the judges. I like them all as well.

Same here.. I wasn't for Tyra hosting and think other than trying to use Nick's shtick, she was fine in the job.
And they have some way of voting that shuts out most viewers.

They have 60 super fans, one from each state doing the voting. So basically 50 people will decide the winner.

I have a feeling this show is not a "live" show. Could have been filmed weeks or months back. They have a golden buzzer each week and 50 "Super Fan" voters (1 in each state), so obviously it could not be live because of time zones.
I have not been that happy with their picks so far. I'm not a fan of acts that make me cringe (knife-throwers, sword swallowers, etc.). Ugh.

When the show was in NYC I used to go with a friend, and the acts were not live, while the show was live, they taped some of the acts because sets take too long to break down. they would tape the acts just before the show, I remember one person who was a favorite who fell begging for another chance, she did not get it. too many acts to tape. the whole thing took hours.

Last night, I thought the former football player should have gone through. His act was amazing. yes, I believe it's taped, as well. That's why only the 'super fans' in each of the 50 states are voting.

Kookliebird and Colordeagua, I'm with you both 100%! I so wanted the football player comedian to win last night: 1) because he was funny, and 2) because he had a great background story. Didn't dig the singer from the UK. He was good, I just didn't enjoy him as much.
And the Spanish woman was a disappointment, too. Just not thrilled with the people they are picking to be champions. I'm wondering if others are feeling the same way?

I agree. It seams that the contestants were chosen for the finale before they performed since the best acts did not go through.

Well that article about the judges was half-right; Heidi and Mel are out- their replacements are Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough...Terry Crews will host again.

(and actually, this makes a little more sense to me- after Howard left, you didn't have any American-born judges- Howie has dual Canadian/American citizenship; it's not a big thing, but it sorta bugged me a bit)

Jimmer...I totally agree, I know it shouldn't but I get really annoyed with singers on this show...there are so many other singing only shows ...
