This is going to be a good season. They have picked some very talented singers so far. This season they are also having a twist of sorts called the Comeback Stage. Some of the singers who get zero chair turns are picked to be coached by Bebe Rexha and have a chance to get like a wild card back into the show.

LOL oh they did? Shows you how I watch the show. 
What I do is I watch the chair turning and then skip most of the next part and then watch the last few episodes when they get to the live performances.

I'm not happy that it seems the show is only going to be 1 night a week now. It was on Monday and Wed. one week, but other than that, one night.

I also like the comeback idea because I need something to hold my interest. I'm getting burned out. Kelly Clarkson has added good energy.

I am a big Kelly Clarkson fan, but that 3 color dress she has been shown in the past couple episodes is really a nightmare.

Adam Levine seems to be more into the process this year than last season. Plus, there was a commercial for a new project that Adam and Charlie Puth are producing around songwriters. It sounded interesting. One of the mentors I saw was Ryan Tedder, who is an amazing song writer. His catalog is immense for multiple singers.

Well as to the voice vs idol, one of the contenders on idol is from an earlier voice show. but she did not make it past the battle rounds, I have to look up her name again.

I only watched a bit & decided to just stay on AI & not switch back & forth. The Voice has lost a lot of my interest & I don't know why.

I always skip the battle rounds. I find this show over-produced and meaningless from the point of view of enjoying true unvarnished talent. I do like the judges better than the AI judges though.

I'll watch tonight. Didn't the coaches used to pick the winner of this round as well & the other coaches have the chance to steal the looser? Seems like this is a change that America votes on this round.

Also, this season - the 2 singers competing w/each other are from opposite teams (how is this picked?).
