Well, they just knew Janice had to sing, not that she was out.
Shi'Ann had the worst performance and the lowest rated in terms of sales and then she was safe!

Between Janice and Adam, you have one whose timezone allowed for voting to save during the show, AND with country fans, while Janice is from my time zone. I didn't get home until 7:30 pacific, so no voting for me.

It’s too bad if people vote for “the home team” rather than who they think is the best performer.
I do think that Adam was better than Janice in any event.

It shouldn't be because of location, or because of the coach, but those are factors, and half the viewers get the words Voting is closed across the screen.

If I kept my phone on or would vote blindly without hearing them sing, or tweet whike I am engaged with real life, sure..
Since so many shows how are slaves to social media voting that is live for two time zones, I have lost interest in voting.

Almost everyone gave it their all tonight. I thought Addison, Noah and Shi'Ann were the weakest but still pretty good. Adam did great tonight as did Red and Davon and Chloe. I can't believe it's coming down to the semi-finals next week with 2 going home tomorrow night.

I loved Adam (thought he was amazing), Chloe, and Red. I didn’t care for Ashland again this week and I did not like Shi’Ann’s song tonight either.

I haven’t watched the whole show yet but I really liked Davon’s performance. Adam didn’t stand out for me so maybe I’ll watch his performance again.

Adam and Adam billed his performance as showing off his real country side, but I don't think it succeeded. Not bad, but not a huge standout.

I have really liked Noah in past performances. However, I have never heard the song he sang... while good, I don't think it will resonate with the online voters.
It is a popularity contest, but I think it helps if they pick songs that are more well known. From the initial iTunes last night, I saw that Chloe was doing pretty well, even before the west coast broadcast. I'll have to look again today to see where they are at on iTunes.

Red's song from last night is #1 on the country chart, and Adam's is #2. They both were great last night.

I have no idea. I was just pointing out that even though Red and Adam aren't #1 in the Voice chart, they really did well to be 1 & 2 in the country chart, seeing as how they are country singers.
