Remember that American Idol is on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. The performance night will be only 1 hour long, and the grand finale will be two hours long.
Jena won the coin toss and chose to sing first. I thought that was odd.

YES, The Voice 1st hr is just a recap of last night so I'm watching AI as it happens.
1st round picked by Simon (the producer): Jena was good but I didn't know her song. Caleb sang Dream On & boy did he do a great job. They were both extremely good, but I would give that round to Caleb.

You can buy the potential winner's songs right now on iTunes. The winner's album will come out in early August (I don't remember the exact date). That is a change from previous seasons when the album came out months after the tour finished.

Funny....the judges didn't say who they think took round 3. I didn't really care for either song. Hers doesn't have a memorable hook. His is mostly hollering. I prefer his performance to hers, though.

I think they are equally talented but Jena is more versatile, so my votes go to her. (Or would have done, if I'd voted ;).)

I actually think Caleb has been the most consistent and never in the bottom, right? He has a good voice, exudes confidence in his performance and puts on a good show. I hope he wins,
Jena is good, as well. However, I agree with previous posters that it is hard to understand her. She does not enunciate clearly. Plus, I haven't liked all her versions of her songs.
Wasn't Caleb the one who tried out before and didn't make it? I would love to see him go all the way this time.
Jena squeaked in at the very end, if I remember correctly.
I don't vote either but I would definitely vote for Caleb, who I believe would make the better American Idol.

M.K. was conspicuously missing from the group song at the end of the last night's episode. If she's missing again tonight I wonder if they'll explain her absence.

I voted for the first time all season. All my votes went to Caleb. Jena is good, but there's just something about her I don't like. Also she doesn't enunciate. What good are lyrics if you can't understand them? Looking forward to tonight!
