iT'S official, Randy, Nicki Manaje, Mariah and Keith Urban are the judges - too bad, too many egos, no room for the contrestants

I'm not really feeling that line-up. Sounds like a downgrade. Think I'm done with American Idol (was heading that direction anyway.)

All I'm hearing about this line up is negative. This show may have run its course. We'll see what happens.

I'll certainly give it a chance. Can it be worse (and this is coming from someone who was okay with J Lo and Steven)?

Sounds like a pretty crappy line-up to me, so--yeah. It's on its way out.

I'm done. I have Survivor, Criminal Minds and CSI on Wednesday nights. And Dallas will be back in January.

Keith Urban seems to be very kind and loves music, so I think he will be a good judge. His career is going great so he won't need to use this show to better his career unlike some people.

I see no Pop in this line up, only rap R&B and Country. I wonder how this will affect things. The best thing that could happen is that Nikki and Mariah get into a fight and one leaves and someone not a performer steps in.

Apparently Nikki and Mariah are/were talking over each other.

I really dislike Nikki Minaj. As in, can't even look at her dislike. Mariah is Pop more than R&B, I'd say.

Keith is more new country then the old country. If you haven't listened to him, you might be surprised.

So the drama has begun. According to TMZ(sorry don't know how to bring a link here) auditions ended early today due to Nicki and Mariah getting into a yelling match. I think we might be in for more drama on American Idol than we see on Big Brother

TMZ has the video: http://www.tmz.com/2012/10/02/nicki-minaj-mariah-carey-fight-american-idol-audition/ This season has train wreck written all over it.

Poor Keith. He has to sit between these two unprofessionally-behaving divas.

You've got two divas and there's room for only one. I won't be watching the show this year and I love Keith but sorry, I don't like either of the women.

While I much prefer "The Voice" I will have to tune in at times to see this train wreck. Can you just imagine those 2 live ? I see Nicki not coming back if who makes it through the season as she is in way the star that Mariah is. I wish Miss Patty or Aretha were judges.

ha ha ha - Nigel looks like he is having fun (sarcasm) and he deserves it if he picked this fun duo. It is all about the contestants, not the judges Nigel!!! Oh, I forgot 19 is now owned by some huge corporations, this sounds like a corporation idea - pieces look great on paper but they never spend the time to analyze it out.

Oh jeez. We are back to 4 judges next season? This may be the first season I don't watch. The least enjoyable seasons for me were the 4 judge seasons. I can't take all the mindless babbling by the judges when there are 4 of them. Especially if one is Nicki Minaj. I find her to be just an all around unpleasant person. I hope she gets kicked off.

The real shame of it is AI has introduced me to some very talented singers I otherwise wouldn't have heard of. I'll miss that if I stop watching, but I refuse to subject myself to the Nikki/Mariah histrionics.

Actually, I don't watch the auditions, but I watch the top 12/ So, I think it will be quite amusing to see what happens to a live show when someone like Mariah, with a reputation of always being late, even for her concerts, is going to appear. That in itself could make an interesting show.
